My boyfriend and I are married without a wedding ring, we even live together and have two children. I am a christian, so I feel bad about the pre-marital sex thing. Does the bible say that you have to be "Married" or joined together in love?

Yes, the Bible does condemn any sex outside marriage. That means legal marriage, with the whole ceremony, ring, certificate, etc. If you are really a Christian you would not be having pre-marital sex.

Get married. If you love each other enough to have children together, then you can put yourself right thought getting married and repenting of your past sins.

This is a bit tricky to answer. The Bible is clear that we are to be husband and wife before we start making babies. But being as you are married now the question is were you married then in the eyes of GOD? Could be. There is no way I can say for sure. If you are married now, I can not see where there is a problem. As far as the Bible goes, the term "fornication" Is sex before marriage. "Adultery" I believe is sex with someone outside of our marriage.

I hope that helps.

You are a Christian... and you really don't know this?
Are you trying to kid yourself?
Married without a ring is not married... you are playing games.
Why aren't you married?
Think about your kids, and if you feel bad it is for a reason. You are under conviction of what you are doing.
If you are a Christian you know the Bible says you need to be married to have sex, live together...God wants commitment not just pleasing yourselves and calling it something else.

Huh?
"My boyfriend and I are married"
You mean 'husband', right?

"we even live together and have two children"
Well, you're married, you SHOULD live together.

" I am a christian, so I feel bad about the pre-marital sex thing."
What??? I thought you said you were MARRIED??

"Does the bible say that you have to be "Married" or joined together in love?"

A Christian would know what the Bible says about that.

That is something very good that you feel guilty about it congratulation for your living conscious ..Yes premarital sex is an adultery which is a big sin in the eyes of God..The Torah ,the bible and the Quran have the same judgment on this point.

well if your married like you stated you are fine and doing Gods will!! I don't understand the without a wedding ring part.. alot of married couple don't participate in the wedding ring tradition, but if you made a vow to God, you are ok! The bible does say you are to be married or its a sin, but alas He did die on the cross for you and your sins, ask forgiveness and I would recommend getting "married" the right way if you are worried about such. Love the Lord and trust in Him hun!! Pray, pray & pray!!

My point is that you must have a weding at church else you are living in sin. I talk from experience and not "from book".

Our lifes was completly changed after we was married at church.

It is very important! Now you are toghether only one to the other. But when you are blessed by priest/pastor or else, you will be toghether also in God spirit.

If you think that is a problem of money, you can go you, your husband, your children and 2 or 3 other person. You will see sonner or later.

Kyrie eleison!

It says married. However "married" does not seem to include a license, permission by the state, or a ring. See Gen.24:67 (That story is even pretty light on witnesses)

Pre-marital sex will land you in hell. Doesn't matter if you are in love.
If you were wiccan, sex would be a gift to the gods. Since you're christian, your sex is dirty and sinful because you aren't married. Time to either switch religions or keep your legs closed.

Here you go:

Here is what I think best applies to you:

"I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him." (2 Corinthians 11:2)
This indicates that purity and virginity are highly valued before marriage in Scripture. Premarital sex takes away that purity and virginity. For those who have already lost that purity before marriage, God is willing to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). As Christian recording artist Rebecca St. James says, if we have made the mistake of having sex before marriage then we can repent and give our sexuality back to God and become "recycled virgins." As I see it, the idea of being a "recycled virgin" means that we have received forgiveness from God and we are now keeping ourselves pure for marriage without having premarital sex anymore (just like a virgin).

Bless you!
