First go the library and get a book on manuscript construction. Read it from cover to cover. Begin writing about things you know, what you see on the street, the way people interact with each other. You see scene two people in love, write it. A child acting up, needs to be corrected. Children at play, they use everything around them and make it their world. That is one thing you have to learn, when you write about other worlds they are yours. In fact you are god to that world, so dream it. Where as you make money, most of the writers I know just want to see what they have written in print.
