I always tell people that it is a pleasure speaking with them. But, they always tell me the pleasure is all mine. This is especially the case with men I talk to.

I am married to a pastor. We have been married almost a year now. The problem is due to me being very emotional and him not being willing to deal with issues that are affecting our marriage (ex-wife for example) we have had such a tough time trying to get this marriage on the right track. Due to past hurts and failures, that happened before I met him, He has become so detached, indifferent and synical that I could scream. Yet inspite of the fact that our marriage is rocky to say the least, he continues to put the bulk of his effort/interest into the church and Pastoring. Then he expects me to sit there, be quiet, be pretty and be a wife. I love my husband but I believe that our most important calling/obligation right now is to our marriage and the covenant we made before God. Is it wrong of me to feel like he should take a year off from Pastoring to devote some quality effort into our marriage? I feel like nothing or noone else should take priority over our marriage, except God.

This is primarily for other gay men, but I guess the girls can answer too! What kind of underwear do you like to see a man in? Be specific, please. Boxers, boxerbriefs, briefs? Colors, whites, any particular brands? And why? My personal fave is the standard white brief, as long as it's worn well. Meaning, not some big grandpa brief. Just curious to know!

then why don't they still sacrifice animals? I've failed to find anything in the old testament that says they should stop sacrificing. However Christians should've stopped sacrificing because God provided them with their unblemished lamb. I know many Jews still EAT lamb on Passover but they don't actually sacrifice one. Is this because of religion or because of society?

P.S. I'm not affiliated with the following website which does sum up my point and also brings up a good question for some other time. Why don't Christians celebrate Passover?

that the novel/short story you have chosen to read has also chosen you too? Please share your experiences.

For example I choose a novel that is set in Winter and it is Winter now. Or I choose a novel that is about the break up of a love relationship and that's what is happening to me too.

Thanks to all who participate.

OK, I don't quite know how to phrase this so please bear with me if I ramble or get a bit confusing.

My fiance is Roman Catholic, though he doesn't practise and hasn't been to church since he was a child. He wants to start going to church and doing Bible studies. I really want to support him with this and he's asked me to go with him, the only problem is that I'm a bisexual, Wiccan female, and hate it when I hear people saying that homosexuals and anyone that doesn't beleive in the Christian God will go to Hell and are evil disgusting people, I ALWAYS want to fight back and defend my beleifs and the rights of homosexuals, I'd be fine during Mass because I'm not about to stand up in the middle of churc and start arguing with the priest, but during Bible studies if someone starts going on about homosexuals being depraved and disgusting or Pagans being evil I know I'll want to go at it with them, so... my question is, should I just shut my mouth if something like this happens, or fight

is considered to be Eid-al-Ghadeer by the Shia (Shi'is) muslims (which is celebrated mostly in all countries today).

It's the day when the Prophet of Islam declared in front of many muslims that Imam Ali will be his heir.

After the Prophet of Islam's death, a few remembered the prophet's words but the majority preferred Bakr who later seized the land of the Prophet's beloved Daughter, Fatima...

What do you think of Eid-Al-Ghadeer?

Someone posted a question here a few days ago about being uninvited to someone's home for Christmas. I was also invited to a friend's house. Although the invitation wasn't reneged, I felt like an outsider invading the homeland. I was informed they would be eating at noon. I arrived about 11:45 AM with a casserole to share. My friend was still in her nightgown. She said I should go and sit in the living room, then I was totally ignored for the next 2 hours. They didn't eat until after 2 PM. Nobody sampled any of my casserole as it was cold by then. After the meal, I handed out gifts. They opened them, said blandly "Thank you" then expressed no further interest in them. Then my friend went in the living room and fell asleep in the recliner. Her son slept on the sofa. Her husband sat in the kitchen and her daughter decided she wanted to watch TV. Nobody talked to me. When I tried to talk, I was shushed. I left around 5 PM with my casserole and no reciprocal gifts. I felt a little put off.

I am in the process of setting up a directory of Christian events and I would like suggestions for a name. A cool name, nothing obvious and boring. Preferably one word and easy to remember. The idea of the directory is that it will be full of life and colour.

He threatens me and I really wan to thump him in the ear! I was taught to turn the other cheek ect.

Now I think I have found a loophole in the bible Acts 20:35
'It is more blessed to give than to receive"
I think it gives me the okay to thump him before he thumps me.

Tell me what you think about it

I find it equally disturbing that the qur'an says only Muslims will ever be let out of Jehenna, but non-Muslims will never be let out of Jehenna.

This punishment sounds nothing like the esma al husna.

Many Christians became atheists after realising how unjust eternal jehenna is. How many Muslims have done the same?
