that the novel/short story you have chosen to read has also chosen you too? Please share your experiences.

For example I choose a novel that is set in Winter and it is Winter now. Or I choose a novel that is about the break up of a love relationship and that's what is happening to me too.

Yes...at a terrible time in my life I read "The Unicorn" by Peter Benchley. It was not only magical to me, but spritual and both settled and eliminated many of my beliefs at the time. I see clearer now. It was required college reading and Yes, it made a big difference in my life then and now.

Yes I read some Alex Cross featured novels about the loss of his wife and then again another love lost. During the time I was reeling from losing many people in a very short time.

I get too emotionally involved in novels. I used to read to my husband and he would make me stop if I got upset when someone died and if I was the author I wouldn't have let that person die.

I feel that way about the work of Robert Heinlein. His writings about polyfidelitous relationships taught me that others felt the same way I did. I felt validated and it gave me the courage to seek polyfidelitous partners.

I pick two people that fell very much in love but could never be together.
Each day of their lives was like a Holiday..Spring,Summer,Autumn,
Winter.
