I think it's not our job to forgive or to condemn a man like Hitler.

Our job as a Human Beings (not only Christians) is to learn from Hitler so that kind of human weed can never be allowed to grow again.
To learn about what he did and how he was permitted to do it. What conditions and attitudes allowed him to do the horrible things that he did? Why didn't the good people in Germany stop him?

Then to watch carefully for others like him (that fit this profile) and stop them before they rise to power.

If Christians wish to forgive Hitler for killing Christians, then of course that is their call.

What they cannot do is forgive him on behalf of the six million Jews that were exterminated, or on behalf of any other non Christians.

In Judaism it states that only the victim of a crime can forgive the perpetrator. Sadly the victims of Hitler's atrocities are almost all dead.

As a separate point though, some things ARE unforgivable. The mass torture, mass gassings, mass shootings and mass killings that were instigated by Hitler are, in my view, totally unforgivable.

Hitler is guilty of spilling the blood of millions, yet he has paid the ultimate price for sin.

His fate is now in God's hands. God is a Just and Powerful God and we might be surprised when we see Hitler in Paradise. (or not) Who are we to Judge?

Hitler was a Christian and so Christians must forgive him -- and why not? --Christians hate Jews with a vehemence far greater than anything an atheist can do (killed my saviour, etc).

The Jews will not forgive -- and why should they?

Neither will they forgive Christians who are more and more nowadays showing their true colours of anti-semitism.

Yea ain't that some relegion, a guy like hitler is going to heaven if at any time before he died he says he is sorry and takes Jesus as his savior, but if some jewish doctor devotes his whole life to say, operating on poor kids for nothing, he is going to burn in hell because he does not think Jesus was the savior, DOES ANYONE REALLY BELIEVE THAT???

It does not matter what christians conclude regarding their
brother in faith.HIs judgement is with almighty God .Nreither
any belief associated with it will save Hitler from the fire.If the
law would have caught him they would be able to put him to
death only once but Allah the almighty fas promised in the
Quran that in the hell fire he will roast the skins of the evil ones
and then give them new skins for the process to start all over
again and again till eternity.

Get over it. The war has been over for 62 years, we are good friends with Germany now, and Hitler has been dead for 62 years.

The soldier who shot your grandad was just a soldier do his job, following orders, and most likely doing so under fear of death if he didn't.

A German shot my great-grandfather in the Battle of the Somme in the First World War. Another German rescued him, carried him back to the British trench and fled to his own side. My great-grandfather didn't hold his shooting against the German who shot him, and was grateful to the "enemy" who rescued him.

In a sense. God will forgive, whom he will forgive, but he asks that we forgive everyone. I don't think Hitler stands a chance. I haven't thought of forgiving him. The millions that died, the resources of the world that were wasted, buildings destroyed. He is very close to satan in his actions and deeds.

Jesus told us all.. to be forgiven..we MUST learn to forgive. All our lives are designed with a seemingly endless parade of different events which help us to learn to discern not only our own weaknesses..but those of others as well. Jesus also said no one of us may lead another into sin.. so you see...by simply blaming the entire horrible ordeal the world went through on Hitler alone makes no sense. All the people who listened to him.. and gave him status he did not deserve..well they led him into sin, see? Everyone involved sinned in some way.. so it is up to all of us to see the complete picture rather than to over simplify and place all blame on one man alone. It's not fair, you see.

That is why Jesus said..condemn not lest ye be condemned. Life granted to us by the grace of God here on earth..while we are forced to wear this flesh ..to trap us while we are children on the earth and forcing us to go through a series of extremely complex and utterly complete lessons in our own weaknesses..as well as the weaknesses of others.. are designed to show us that the mercy of God is waiting for ALL people and not just some.

Hitler was a tool used by Satan.
What we should do is thank God for having a plan in purposing the demise of this wicked system of things.

I saw a question on this site and I can not get it out of my head, it asked,
"If you needed a babysitter and had to choose from the following, which would you pick, Britany Spears - Ozzy - Hitler, which would you choose?"
