.....Indeed, it has been a remarkable spiritual impact in the world of Christianity, after the step taken by British former Prime Minister, Tony Blair, after finally sealed his spiritual desire, at new spiritual destination. After his past visits to Vatican, it created some speculations which had no clear standing, till he made a strong confirmation last week, just some hours before Chrismass. Does it prompts other Anglicans to take similar step?
....Also latest research revealed that in the UK, catholic churchgoers out numbers those of church of England!
....On the other hand, along with some discussions between Anglican heads and Vatican in the past days, while focusing on the possibilities to recombine the two large denominations, to form what could be viewed as a more cemented, powerful Catholic church. Could this (Blair's) step enhance for increased discussion frequency between the two churches, thus maximize unification within this decade!

My boyfriend and I are moving into this cute e bedroom home we are renting for us and our children. I was wondering if it was ok to have a housewarming party. I'd love for our family to come and enjoy our own place. I don't wanna be rude but a few gifts like dish sets and stuff would be nice too. Is it ok?

Kindly don't try to give me the crap that all are One.

If that is that, then why everyday so many people are being killed for proving each one's supremacy among these three?

Why one feels proud in taking the name of one while avoids or hates other's ??

This question is mostly directed at Christians since they are making the biggest stink about the books/movie. If you are of another religion then please give your thoughts as well.

Understandably, if you are a parent and you don't want to allow your child to watch the movie then that is your right. This question is directed at people who think the movie should not be viewed by anyone.

Why is it okay for Christians to put out movies out like The Chronicles Of Narnia and Passion Of The Christ, but not okay for an atheist to make a movie which supports atheism? We live in a country where everybody has the right to speak their minds and believe in anything they want to. Why is that right being opposed?

And I've heard some people say that the movie is a sort of wolf in sheep's clothing in terms of "tricking" children into viewing an atheist movie. If that is true then isn't Narnia guilty of the same thing. Nobody made a fuss when that movie came out.

here is a paragraph

Guitar strings often go “dead”—become less responsive and bright in tone—after a few weeks of intense use. A researcher whose son is a classical guitarist hypothesized that dirt and oil, rather than changes in the material properties of the string, were responsible.

i don't understand the following

whats the meaning of "bright in tone—after" ?

whats the meaning of "hypothesized" ?

The most expensive was a $20 monitor stand for my fiance's computer. The least expensive was an irredescent glass sanddollar I bought for my mom - It was $1.08 after tax, and she yelled at me because she thought I spent like 30 bucks on it, plus it looks like the most expensive gift I bought...

"If you believe in God and turn out to be incorrect, you have lost nothing--but if you don't believe in God and turn out to be incorrect, you will go to hell. Therefore it is foolish to be an atheist."

Why is it that you wont believe in a religion.... True, one of the flaws is no one knows what religion is rite so why have the wrong religion and still be screwed....Correct? Well do Christians know there religion is correct? no, do Jews know there religion is correct? i think not...Its based on belief..... so why dont you just go with the one thats has the most convincing evidence....Why be stubborn and not have one at all?

2nd Flaw... the statement that "If you believe in God and turn out to be incorrect, you have lost nothing" is not true. say you beleive in the wrong God and the true god may punish you.... once again why not go with the oldest religion... that starts the only words in religion God Created the Heavens and the "Earth"....

Did he survive death by going to heaven? Was he alive in heaven when Jesus was on earth? Was he alive in heaven after Jesus died and went to heaven? Is he in heaven today?

I am curious as to how many professed Bible believers actually know the answer to this question.
