Without watching the video I'd guess that it is referring to the fact that every other part of the clown is disguised in some way, only with the exception of the eyes.

I'll watch the video and see if that changes my guess.
Yea, my answer remains the same. She felt naked as the eyes of a clown.... just a creative way of saying naked and exposed. ☺

A clown dresses and acts like a clown. His shoes are usually oversize, his pants and shirts are often colorful. He even makes up his face with gaudy make up, to either appear happy or sad, and often has funny fake hair or a ridiculous hat. The one thing he cannot change is his eyes. His eyes are the only part of his body that is naked, and you can see into his soul through his eyes. Thus, Naked as the eyes of a clown:

(Applies to the eyes of any normal person, not necessarily, the eyes of a clown alone.)
