Alright, I had read a true story on how a family had a tragedy happen, and the grandparent(who was also of athiest believe), told her son that the reason they made it was because GOD was watching over them! Now the grandchild and the siblings who heard her shook their heads and did not understand how these words? I do not get it? What would you think if this happened to you and you were this child? I know... this will make you think :P

assuming a god exists. There are trillions of stars, with possibly billions of habitable planets in teh known universe, why would god bother with mundane inhabitant of one single planet?Why would god care to micromanage morality for billions of people on one single planet out of possibly billions of them?

Anyways......

I am VERY new at this and i know that today is winter solstice AKA YULE. Now i was wondering how do i celerbrate this, with out leveing my home, i am only a teenage so i cant drive to the beach and chant if you suggest that.

But how do you celerbrate yule as a wiccan/pagan?

And what is the general way to celerbrate it?

I boil mine in dry cider (not sweet) and then when it is cooked, I take it out and remove the rind, score it in diamond shapes, rub brown sugar or honey into it, put a clove into each diamond and then crisp it up in a hot oven. The cider can be used to make gravy.

im bi....but not openly. i want to tell people....but i go to school with my step brother and i don't want him to find out because then he'll be an a sshole and like tell my dad or something and when im ready i would like to come out to my parents myself. there are some people who know at my school though....but i want everyone to know. i really would like to have a girlfriend. i've had about a million boyfriends and i've had like zero girlfriends...and i really want one. but i dunno how i can get one if hardly anyone knows about me being bi. i really want a gf too because like i love being nice and being i guess the romantic one in the relationship and when im with a guy i can't really be that person because thats what guys do. and i just really want a gf that i can hold and chase after if we get in a fight and look after and give my sweatshirt to when she's cold. i just want to do all those things....but i dunno how to get a gf without my bro finding out.

I'm trying to find out more about mass delusions and different psychological conditions that help me understand more about what's going on here on the planet Earth.
I can't believe what I'm seeing. I keep thinking I'm going to wake up and everyone will be sane, but it never happens.
More than half of the population of this entire planet is delusional. I feel like I'm in the Matrix. I can't believe there are so many people here who really and truly believe in gods. They aren't joking, they really do think this stuff is real.
I can't seem to wrap my mind around the immensity of it all. These people are completely and totally immune from any evidence or explanations to the contrary.
How did things get to this point?
How do we ever do anything about it, the problem is so huge?
I just cannot believe that almost the entire human race is walking around inside a terrible dream, and they won't wake up.
What will history say about the human species if they ever do wake up?

One of the leaders was with me, praying and speaking in tongues. At first I was just kind of freaked out, but then somehow it started to seem not so strange. I didn't understand what she was saying or anything, but suddenly I burst out crying. It was a happy kind of crying though, because I knew something major was happening. I felt a nice, warm feeling in my chest, and my hands felt like they were shaking, but when I looked at them I could see that they weren't. I felt the same sensation in my feet. It wasn't a bad experience. It felt so wonderful. I'm just trying to figure out what it was.
