Alright, I had read a true story on how a family had a tragedy happen, and the grandparent(who was also of athiest believe), told her son that the reason they made it was because GOD was watching over them! Now the grandchild and the siblings who heard her shook their heads and did not understand how these words? I do not get it? What would you think if this happened to you and you were this child? I know... this will make you think :P

It does make me think. Because no matter how many times I read it, I don't get what you're trying to say. Explain clearly next time.

I am sorry I can't comprehend what you are trying to write. I will try to get past all the issues and go out on a limb and say you are trying to tell a story about a grandmother who also an Atheist advised her son that the reason her grandchildren survived was due to god watching them and no one understood what it meant and you know what neither do I cause this story makes no sense and is hard to interpret and comprehend. Where did you get this story? I am also going to say that it sounds just as vague and dubious as what you wrote.

The only thing it makes me think is what the heck are you talking about?

Is this in reference to that other post about the grandparent's new car (and assuming it's safety features) saving the grandparents and grand kids?

Perhaps the grandmother was not so much an 'atheist' as she seemed. Good chance she was perhaps raised with religion to some extent.

Yes, I think that I can explain it, as it goes, later on in the year, grandma got all sauced up and got ran over by a reindeer, yes, I do believe that it was when she was walking home, yes, on a christmas eve to be exact.
True story! Yeah.. Me and grandpa believe.

It makes me..... think you should return to adult education and get that GED because your question makes absolutely no sense.

If you are referencing the young WOMAN's story that was posted recently, she said nothing of her siblings shaking their heads. All she said was it was the first and only time she'd ever heard her grandmother say something about god.

Life is unfair, Bad stuff happens and it is not because of a god or devil playing this cosmic chess game. Life is hard. Make the best of it and realize that life is sometimes very painful.

Even grandmas make mistakes.

Every statement must be tested against reality to determine if it is true. Believing ANYTHING on faith is foolish.

People attribute to god anything their feeble minds cannot comprehend. It saves on thinking.
