The Holy Spirit and then the Apostle Paul.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

David. I identify with him so much. He loves God, but is easily distracted by the world, and has so much passion for both. When I m in need of inspiration i often look for a parallel between my life ans David's and it's usually findable. Plus the Psalms are some of the most beautiful poetry ever written.

Well, the Holy Spirit leads us into Truth... but if you are looking for the most inspiring personage in the bible (excluding Jesus) I would have to say probably Moses or Elijah... or John or Peter... or Paul or Barnabas or David..... or Samuel or Matthew or Luke...or Abraham or Isaac or Jacob..... or Joshua or Gideon..... or Saul or Balaam.... or Cain or Abel.... or Adam.... or Mahershalahazbaz..... or.....

god bless

David. He had the heart of God and is an interesting study if you want to draw close to God.
I also like Peter, because he was so human. He ran on emotion like most women and I can understand him and his mistakes and identify with his feelings.
It took me a while to appreciate Paul, but after we studied him in depth, I realized he really was quite humble (not what I thought at all). He did truly appreciate women (another misconception) and he had a zeal that could not be stopped. On top of that, he was an excellent teacher and not arrogant at all, as I mistakenly supposed before studying him.
Esther. She exemplifies such obedience and courage. Her circumstances were anything but ideal, yet she trusted God and obeyed what she was told to do, in spite of possible death. She placed herself in harm's way for the sake of her people. Much like our soldiers.

Noah. Here was a guy, living in a desert. His job is to build a boat - a big one - for the flood that's to come - in a land with no lakes or rain..... and he works on it for 100 years with his neighbors laughing at him... for 100 dry, God-trusting years. That's being a faithful man!

Also, he got his wife, his three married sons and their wives to do it with him. He must have been a great example of a man to his boys for them to follow him. God did not speak to the sons or Noah's wife. They followed him because they trusted him that much.

What an example of a husband and father Noah is!

Sadly, apart from Christ the only influence people have to search the scriptures is to distort, deceive, and discredit it.
