I like the book of Enoch. It has some cool verbal pictures of things going on behind the scenes in Heaven and it's quoted in the Bible which gives it some credibility.
Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

The first of the Books of Enoch appeared during the time of the Maccabean Revolt (around 250 BC) and quickly became popular. It was followed up with several "sequels" by different authors. No copies of the original books survive. What little we know about them comes from quotes in other works. Even then, they were usually referred to works of popular fiction.
The New Testament book of Jude includes a quote that is credited to Enoch (verse 14). The "Book of Enoch" available today first appeared in the late 2nd to early 3rd century. It includes the quote found in Jude as one of its opening statements. It then alludes to several of the stories known from the quotes about the books of Enoch. Yet in the original quotes, these stories were said to have come from several different books.
It appears that the "Book of Enoch" we know today is a "forgery", complied by an unknown author after the time of Jesus. He saw that he must have done quite a bit of research into the records of the original writings.

The book is how a man would describe the spiritual existence, those things which exist on the immortal side of our being. It solidifies the existence of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, angels and fallen angels as well as heaven as a place. I am certain that it is a true account.
