"It no longer matters who is right. It only matters who is suffering. And how that suffering may be ended"

Agree or Disagree?

Think about it. In Christianity, no one is perfect. No one is without sin. Therefore no one can die fully forgiven. Suicide is purely a sin. The same as murder, premarital sex, etc. So, do you think it is possible for a fully devoted Christian to get into heaven if they commit suicide?

I just want to see everyone's opinion on this matter.
Please keep in mind that there is only one unforgivable sin: blasphemy.

At one point i was watching a commercial about a senatoriable candidate of which the words "God-fearing" would be heard. Then I tempted myself to try to type anything against biblical characters, but i didn't even know that i was trying to curse them. I was really curious and terrified.

I was in a spiritual slump for a very long time. The circumstances at my church in dealing with certain people has lead me to be in this position. But! I am getting better. Just not anywhere near where I would like to be. My question is this: Could I be on the brink of a powerful breakthrough? Because lately, I am more mindful of God. If I do something that is wrong all of a sudden I get this feeling of conviction. Like a type of feeling that you get when you know you did something wrong! In the past I used to kind of not think about it so much. But I am beginning to feel the same way I felt when I first turned myself over to the Lord. I'm feeling more forgiving, more hungry, and desperate. I actually have a strong desire to turn my life over to God completely. But its strange how it is happening. Some people say: "Just turn your life over to god" Well, in the past I felt that like that was nearly impossible. Now, I feel like I can actually do this!

George Bush played the God angle for two elections and I think he's a lousy Christian if he even is one at all.

Now, Mike Huckabee is really playing up that values voter angle that was sorely lacking before. Will you vote for the person again who wears their religion on his sleeve?

Why would christians think atheists/agnostics not celebrate christmas or not want to here "Merry Christmas"?
Why should we care that they make it about their christ's birth when they don't care that it's really a pagan holiday? Can't everyone just enjoy a fun time of year in there own way?

Since David (Jesus' ancestor) was a redhead, as said in the bible. Is it possible that Jesus was also a redhead?

A verse in the bible where it says that David was a redhead:

1 Samuel 16:12 "And he sent and brought him in. Now he was RUDDY and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the LORD said, "Arise, anoint him, for this is he." - Holy Bible; English Standard Version.

"CHICAGO (Reuters) - Teenagers who have had formal sex education are far more likely to put off having sex, contradicting earlier studies on the effectiveness of such programs, U.S. researchers said on Wednesday.

They found teenage boys who had sex education in school were 71 percent less likely to have intercourse before age 15, and teen girls who had sex education were 59 percent less likely to have sex before age 15."

Is the evil biased satan based religion of science at it again? Is that it? The religious right sickens me.

I am 13 and am orthodox. My mom and my sister are non denominational christians. My dad is also orthodox christian just as I am. I talked to my mom about my baptism. She said that she doesn't like religion because its not wat the bible says. I said then why did she baptize me in the orthodox church if she doesn't like religion. She said that she didn't know Christ and that evry orthodox around her told her that I was supposed to be baptized because they knew the Orthodox church rules. She said that I had a Godfather and mother. She said the whole religion thing is stupid and that since it doesn't say that in the bible then it's not right. She always does that. It pisses me off because she's trying to contradict catholism and orthodoxy just because she doesn't believe it. I believe all the rituals devoutly and dont believe her faith. Do you think she has a right to say those things about my faith? What should I do?

God is very Great. Every one in this world is unique in itself in mean of different faces, different skills, different scales, different skulls, different thoughts & different feelings. Why God
has done so. What motive was behind this ? If you follow then reply, If not then ignore, but no joke. Thanks

-DIO as DI .n u(O cut in 3=.n u, ie on you)
-DIEU as DI [iL U(E cut in 4 is [iL, pronounced seal)
-DIOS as DI .n u \S \(a times new romana font S cut in 3 is \S\)
-DEUS as DI=U s\\(a times new roman font S cut in 3 is s\\, pronounced seel)
-SHANGDI as S\\ HAN CuT DI (s in times new roman font cut in 3 is S\\(pronounced seel, and a times new roman font G cut in 3 is CuT

so if a CuT DI is IIII I then God is the same person described by the WORD for GOD in those 5 languages and the countries that speak those languages.

-GOTT as CuT nuT liT (when G=CuT as in times nwe roman font and O=n u when cut in two, and liT=T when cut in 4)
-BOG the polish word for GOD contains the words CuTODD (when read btwn the lines)
-bor (with a small ~ at the top of thw b, reads btwn the lines as ~ DI(sealed together) .n u rill, where the ~ could be a symbol for the arm ie ~.
-Allah as All ah (where ah-lari(not to scale) mixed uo and sealed together)
-OM as .n u IVI ie IV I = IIII I , OM being the hindi name for God(ie a description of God is the word for God)
-GOD as CuTOD (when a times new roman font G=CuT)

so those 5 also can be seen as a description for the LORD GOD assumming He is called lari tod(pronounced like larry todd...)

so a name pronounced lari tod(given names) that is IIII I (sealed together) described as IVI(sealed together) or the scars look like a DI(sealed together) is the God who became the Word. meaning the word was whatever word you used to describe God like the nations words for God listed below:

DIO,DIEU,DEUS,DIOS,SHANGDI,GOTT,BOG,bor,Allah,God.

so in a way i must be the God who although the word existed before God, became the WORD.

now tell me are those 10 languages wrong and God didn't become the word, with the word being the word they used to describe God?

Another question:

When Mary (or the group of women) went to the tomb early in the morning, was it light yet or was it still dark? Mark writes that it was "after sunrise" (16:2), when there would have been plenty of light, but John writes that it was "still dark" (20:20). These texts simply do not agree.

I'm not hostile to the Bible or christians in general, just do not understand their position regarding the Bible being inerrant.

How many errors need be shown?

If the authors were inspired by God, wouldn't they have their stories straight? Some of you have argued "no" the this question? If that's the case, the entire Bible should be viewed as accounts from men who may have got their facts screwed up, right?

If you look at the indiginous people of the middle east, Jesus did not have blue eyes, and light brown hair, as he is depicted in artwork. He would have fairly dark skin, and north african features. I wonder if euros would have chosen to worship Him if he would have been protrayed as he really looked. I KNOW no one knows exactly how He looked, but paleontologists can come pretty close, at least in general terms, and it aint how He is depicted.
