Well, I would run into whatever house was closest.

If it turns out to be the Muslim house, I guess I'd just have to hope it wasn't a Jew-hating Muslim.

If it was a Christian, I'd just have to hope it wasn't one of those types who goes "Oh a JEW! I just LOVVVE Jews!! Let me tell you all about our lord and saviour!"

I'd take my chances with the gang of hoodlums over either of those choices.

And if it turned out to be the Jewish house, I'd just have to hope it wasn't a self-hating Jew who would throw me back out to the wolves.

On second thought, I'd just keep running.

EDIT: Oh! There was an Atheist house choice too? I didn't see that one, sorry. If it was an Atheist house, there would probably at least be some sort of firepower there, but then I don't know if I'd want to inflict my troubles on him. Usually Atheists are crabby enough already.

Well, I run Cross Country so I think I could out run some hoodlums. .

but anyway,

I probably wouldn't want to run to one to draw attention to the people living inside. I would run to the one that would have the best defense mechanism outside of the house(i.e.baseball bat, gun, stick, etc.) to defend myself rather picking one house and practically forcing them to help me. Not to mention that if I stopped at a house that would give the hoodlums time to catch up to me which wouldn't be very intelligent -- of course, chances are, I probably wouldn't be running anyway because I'm more of a "stand firm and defend yourself even if it means getting the crap beat out of you" type of person. Plus, if I was fighting, I'm sure there would be some noise making so the people inside the houses would hear it and thus see what the noise is. Then he/she could decide for themself if they wanted to put themself in harms way to help me. .and I wouldn't have to pick.

wow, I'm sure an over-analyzer.

If I was being chased by a gang of hoodlums I'd stop at the first house for help regardless of who was inside.

None of them I carry a 8 shot 45 acp with 2 spare mags, I would spin around and open fire and run if any of the hoodlums were still alive when I run out of ammo.

if the distance was the same and they all ahd their llights on and it only depended on the religion then I would run to the christian one probably, not athiest, but if there was an AGNOSTIC one then id run to that one. I dont know anything about jewish religion or muslim so i wouldnt know what to expect, but if you're being chased then why would you care.

well, you could hide behind the Nativity in front of the Christian's house... i think you would upset a lot of Jews (probably rightly so) if you grabbed a Menorah and used it as a weapon.
The atheist might not even have a Santa decoration, so I guess I would hide at the Muslim house.

With that little background, I'd probably run the other way. If I had to chose, it would be the atheist. He/she would either help or not, but would not judge me in the process. I can deal better with being ignored than with someone judging me who does not know or understand me.

Not the Christian, he wouldn't help me- just pray for me.
The atheist would probably ask for proof, but then if he/she believed me he/she would probably stay calm and act in a logical manner so that might be okay..
