Allah says in Quran - sura 104
1. Woe to every kind of scandal-monger and backbiter.
2. Who piles up wealth and hoards it
3 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!

Three vices have been condemned here.

What do you do if a group is backbiting.

i believe that what a life time is for is to become our optimum true selves so we can be excepted into our final resting place which is in heavan. i believe that it take several life times to know thy self yes, reincarnation. in one life time, we are given life problems and based on how we react towards that particular problem we are allowed to move forward on to a new problem or we are forced to repeat that problem until we get it right. if you never get anything right then you are forced to relive in to another life time until you become your optimum best both spiritually and mature.

if the lessons to be learnt that we are faced everyday are OUR lessons to be learnt then why do people prey for a different kind of out come?

it seems to me that god wants us to help our selves. it's a must.

unless, we are meant to ask a different kind of line of blessings. like instead of asking him for money instead we should ask why we are meant to live at this time a poor person. ...

My question is this: For those who believe in a Divine Being who created all the species and has the ability and willingness to take action, why would he allow so many of these magnificent creatures to disappear from the face of the earth? Wouldn't this, indeed, suggest that either there is no God, or that if there is, He doesn't or can't get involved? If you believe in a perfect God, why would he create a species (in all God's alleged perfection) only to have it disappear? Don't forget: well over 90% of the animal species that have existed in the history of the world have gone extinct.

Don't even get me started on birth defects.

God is. God isn't. Satan is. Satan isn't. Good is. Good isn't. Evil is. Evil isn't. Love is. Love isn't. Hate is. Hate isn't.

Why does man knowing what man is, listens to man?
Why does man insist his beliefs are better, when perfection is an opinion?
-life is a perfect circle
"we are all walking the path of man, whether you believe the circle is there or not, you're still walking in it"

My church recently sent me a letter that it cost them $2,500.00 a week for us to have sunday mass. And that they wanted everyone to pay at least that for a pledge. And if you had to pay what you could pay then there was a minimum to that and it was $1,000.00 per person per year.Thats what I pay on my mortgage a year. They needed the money to pay off $35,000.00 on there building fund. And that they needed this to meet there match program that paid $4. for every $1 of new money after the pledges were made. They also asked the people that made pledges already to up them 10% more. They closed by threatening to come to our houses if they couldn't get it done.I thought that worshiping God was free. I don't think that God ment for churches to threaten us like that. If you want a copy of letter to prove what I'm saying is true, then email: ath4554@embarqmail.com. and I will send it to you.

By atheism I'm not referring to that condition people say we're born with, which while technically true, is no more positively atheistic than it is positively theistic.

I'm asking if you can refer to anyone, including yourself if it's the case, who has moved from a position where they said "I've examined the evidence carefully and it is impossible for me to believe in the existence of a divine being" to becoming a believer.

I'll start: Antony Flew.

Science and religion are different. The domain of science is natural order: the domain of religion is nature’s purpose. Religious beliefs and practices usually involve faith in and worship of a supreme being and the creation of human community – not the practices of science. In this respect, science and religion are as different as apples and oranges and do not contradict each other. The two complement rather than contradict each other.

i have just got myself a little part time job to help fund my studies. its an ironing and washing service place.
i began this job on the same day it was taken over by somebody new. the staff who were there with the old owner are having teething problems with the new owner. so there is lots of name calling and general displeasure going on. one of the women who works there has decided to start her own washing and ironing business. she has already started taking people's washing and ironing and is doing it in between working at the shop. she is also telling our customers that she is starting up herself and undercutting my boss. we have started to lose customers, due to ironing not being done right, items going missing, and orders not being done on time.
i am wondering if she has anything to do with this, however, i have no prove of this.
so my dilema is do i tell my boss whats going on and if so how can i tell her without any come back. i have a family and education to consider

The Bible Prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus
“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you”.
“Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you.” [Leviticus 11:7-8]
Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy
“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.” [Deuteronomy 14:8]
A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.
dont tell me that its in the old testment because jesus christ peace be upon him clearly said:
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Methew 5:17
