When a man moans and groans during sex - turn on or off?

2007-12-12 03:50:00 · 4 answers · asked by Anonymous in Etiquette

My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life and told me I would do well to call on him when making decisions. It seems he was always around in my early years but less and less as time passed by. Today I read his obituary. Please join me in a moment of silence in remembrance, for Common Sense had served us all so well for so many generations.

Obituary

Mr. Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. ! Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student, but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm a Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

I've been with this gal since she was in school, and I tipped heavily when she was in school as it was her source of income. Now she's working in an actual salon and licsensed.

and then they all die - i'm talking a large number of people in a catastrophic situation - does that mean not even god could save them, or does it mean that god didn't want to save them?

Ok, I decided to learn Russian, and I am starting a course at college next semester. But, just to listen to the language, I got a link for Russian TV.

http://www.multilingualbooks.com/online-tv-russian.html#about

I go to RTR Planeta ( Number 4) and click on 128Kbps

Is that language on that TV Russian or Ukranian?

Thanks

Or why is a Designer more likely than a multiverse?

((Designer as in a general intelligence responsible for the structure and laws of the universe, no specific deity))

I don't get it.

Assumptions:
1. God gives humans free will.
2. God "reveals" himself through an ambiguous book but refuses to make himself continuously known in a physical form on Earth.
3. Those who refuse to pledge their fealty ala John 3:16 are sent to hell.

Why would a god need to test his creations? Is this some experiment? The only answer I can come up with is:

42

If you do not understand this answer, you did not ask the right question.

The Earth is a supercomputer designed by hyper-dimensional pan-dimensional beings to figure out the ultimate question to life, the universe, and everything.

Why did God create man with the intelligence and curiousity to poke around and try to figure out how the world works? And for that matter, why did he create the world in such a way that its underlying principles could be unravelled? We know a fair bit about the building blocks of matter, universal constants, DNA coding, etc. Not everything, of course, but if there was a God who didn't like us peeking behind the curtain, why leave all this information out in the open?

I'm all about education but have anyone of you taken a class from a white professor about something having to do with Africa?

Or African dance lessons from an instructor that was not African?

I took an African literature class from a white professor and I was taken back. How can a White man know what the struggles of a Black woman are like? I passed his class with a B+, but felt like that classreally should have been taught by someone that knows a little bit more intimately what it was really like to be a Black person.

I'm not racist but I want to know if this would also surprise you? His class was good though.

stating that all life can and is explained by natural causes acting randomly over time. Therefor there is no need for a creator. No life after death, no ultimate foundations for ethics, no ultimate meaning for life, no free will. The only reason people still believes in such things as ethics, morals and free will, is that people have not yet grasped the full implications of Darwinism.
