and then they all die - i'm talking a large number of people in a catastrophic situation - does that mean not even god could save them, or does it mean that god didn't want to save them?

Great question! I'm really interested in seeing what kind of response you get! And my thinking?

Did God really want 6 million Jews to perish in the Holocaust?

Did God really want the Kimer Rouge to murder 9 million people?

What about Stalin? Augusto Pinochet? And all the other mass murderers from our recent past and in history? Did God really cause this or out-rightly ignore the consequences?

Whether you believe in God or not, I think the answer is the same. The answer rests inside the idea that Like Attracts Like. Part of the Universal Law of Attraction. And what do I mean by that?

When you place your fate in other's hands you negate your ability to chart your own course. You deny your own divine ability to create your own reality; your destiny.

Many Jews got the hell out of Europe at the first signs of trouble. Others chose to ignore what was happening all round them or simply did not believe what was staring them in the face.

A good example of this is in the story of Billy Wilder, the Hollywood writer and director that made incredible comedies like, "Some Like It Hot." As soon as Hitler came to power in 1933, Wilder knew his Jewish ancestry would get him into trouble. He immediately moved to Paris then came to the United States. Had he stayed in Berlin, where he was living at the time, he would have become part of that 6 million statistic. Instead, he saw what was looking right at him and left.

Good thing he did. I've always loved his work and believe the world would have been a far darker place without him.

it somewhat is rather confident to have faith the human race won't wreck itself interior of here couple of one hundred years, no longer to point billions. we've basically been around approximately 25,000 years and we've already broken the planet to the quantity that our survival is being threatened. After international warming and the mess ups linked with that, it somewhat is basically a count of time before we journey yet another ice age. which would be a harsh atmosphere to strengthen sufficient food to sustain the human race. If we did make to 5 billion years, we'd be so quite developed that we would be waiting to leave the actual style and grow to be religious beings of organic power. we'd possibly be so technologically better that we would colonize different planets and photograph voltaic platforms. in case you weren't basically trolling i might reassure you which you haven't any longer something to fret approximately. This grew to become into for the income of the different readers.

No. That means we have tried to do it on our own but now realize the problem is bigger than us so we've surrendered now and God can help us. The best part of that is that it has been realized and remembered that there is nothing too hard for God.

I think it is clear from the context that it is temporary physical being saved that is referred to. Therefore, He chose not to. Maybe because you called Him "God" and in Ex 23:13 He told you not to use that name.

It means shut up and stop asking questions. You're making the believers have doubts, and we can't have that.
