Then where in the world did whoever started your church or sect get the authority to start that church or preach the Bible according to what would only be their interpretation of the Bible with no real authority from God?

I mean, theres hundreds of religions, and only a couple are right. Almost every religion stems back to the original Babylonian Cult, Catholics, Buddhists, Egyptians (I don't know what theres is called.), the Greeks and their gods, the Romans and theres, the Africans and theres, the Aztecs and Mayas and there gods, the Chinese and theres, I mean, when you think about it, there is a HUGE percentage of the world that have fallen into the same religious style that God wants to be destroyed.

There are a couple Christian faiths that I believe to be closest to the bible, and yes, I do believe the bible to be the word of God, and I do believe Jesus is my personal savior. (I am Baptists for the record)

And no one tell me the Christian religion came from Catholics or another, it came directly after the time of Jesus, the Catholics are the result of a Christian based church fusing with the Roman emperor around 315AD. They emporer said he was christian, the christians accepted him...

I didn't choose to be this way; I can't help being who I am. I just find the female form to be alluring in a way that doesn't apply to males. When I see a beautiful woman, I want to take her in my arms, caress her smooth skin, and ravage her like a wild animal. When I see a good-looking man, I wonder about his diet and exercise schedule. If I weren't so fat, I wouldn't have to use craigslist. Nobody likes a chunky-butt plumper like me. I posted an ad and the first responders were men. I double-checked to make sure I was in the m4w section. There's a m4m for gays. I have nothing against gays. I don't use the f-word. That's a hateful word. But I am fat. Fat and lonely. I want companionship. Sexual companionship. The type I wouldn't want from a man. I don't spill over into w4w. I'm not a lesbian. I think the penis would annoy them. I'm so sad and lonely. And women don't like me. Why do these messages from indescriminate men bother me so much? Am I a bigot? Why can't I live and let live?

Maybe Revelations is Referring To The United States ?

Just by memory and in passing I can think of a couple of quotes saying that - 'Every country will drink of their(the great prostitute) luxuries' and eventually that country will be destroyed and 'ships will pass-by and the people will say that no one lives there anymore' .
I recognize that we do have many good people here , but there's no denying how MATERIALISTIC and HYPOCRITICAL and JUDGEMENTAL we have become . .. . . ME ME ME. . . BLING BLING BLING. . . Sue Happy - You wronged me, now you're gonna pay , and pay BIG-TIME - Face-lifts and Botox to make us 'appear' like someone we're not , My Property , I own that - Ipods, Blackberries , Nose-rings and Eyebrow-Rings, Facebook, MYspace, 'Reality Shows' , Celebrity , Everybody thinks they deserve their 15 minutes of fame , YouTube, Fancy Cars ,
And one of the most baffling of all -- The 'feeling' that no one dare say anything that 'may' offend anybody .

An unselfish person gives an unselfish gift !
A person puts on a red coat and a fur lined red hat -giving up 'self' for the day.
How can I not love that person who brings a little joy , happiness and 'magic' to others -even if only one day a year.
Santa helps me remember St. Nicholas and the Birth celebrated at this time of year.
Santa is the embodiment of giving, love, and , generosity- whatever else you may or may not believe.
Can each of be Santa for another at least once a year ???

Every one who loves her has the same problem, so I need lots of good ideas to choose one that she won't get a dozen of!!! I am looking for a great idea, but one that everyone will not have already thought of?

Have at it! What is a good idea? Even if some one has made a better suggestion, my best answer just might be yours!

Others are in the same boat as me. MANY inquiring minds want to know what you think.

I ask on behalf of all the Yahoos, or net surfers, out there who have a similar circumstances.

If it matters, for your answer, she is a Roaming Catholic, who got married in the protestant church of my choosing (as I was "best man" and wedding coordinator).

I think she remains a nominal Roman Catholic, but it is something we never talk about (we live far away). I think she and my brother were never in a church again, after the wedding, except when my church staged "Heaven's Gates & Hell's Flames" which they hated

My husbands company christmas party is this weekend and he has only been there 6 months. I don't know these people very well and they are planning on having people do karaokee and other stuff like that to claim prizes that they are drawing for. I am kinda shy especially around people I don't know. What should I do? Should I suck it up and possibly make a fool out of myself in front of these strangers for a potentially good prize, or decline and keep my dignity but risk looking like a prude? I know I could probably have a drink or two and possibly loosen up a bit but inside I am thinking I might have to get drunk to sing in front of people I dont know. (Basically I suck at carrying a tune!) I want to potray myself as a classy woman, not a sl*t or dork but I am 34 and don't want to act like an old lady either. Need some advise!
