Most of you may have heeard of this already.
But has it worked for you? Did you try it yet?
Like my Aunt believes in it and practice it but she lives in another state and all we hear is great news like a high paying career and she got bored of it and got something even better, then she got a guy who buys her things all the time and wants to marry her! But was it luck or does this stuff really works?

I heard if you picture something in your mind everyday for maybe a week and for 20 minutes each time it will happen.

But do you believe in this?
If so how do you do it? An hour or maybe two a day or the 20 minutes?

I am constantly amazed and saddened at the way most people don't seem to value their own life, not to mention the lives of others, and this morning I passed the scene of an accident where a car hit someone in a crosswalk. If the person lived at all, they had to have been seriously injured. And why were they hit? The road is straight and wide at that spot, there are no corners nearby, and the crosswalk is clearly marked. Judging by how people usually drive around here (I live in New England); I can only assume that the driver simply was not paying attention.

Do you value life? How often do you stop and think about how what you’re doing effects your own life and the lives of others around you?

I need a gift idea for a male boss. He is in his mid 30s, has a family, and we are in a profession where we earn a lot of money.

He likes wine, dining out, we went to the same college and he enjoys sports. I want to get something nice, but not over the top... maybe $100-$200.

What do you think about all the celebrities having babies out of wedlock? Do you think that it's affecting society (since lots of people look to stars as examples on how to live)?

...Full question:
*If a Christian (few in real life, but more on the Net) finds the Christian path to be hard - why on earth would he/ she point fingers at non-Christians (expecting them to live by their Christian ways)?

+I mean, if I were a Buddhist/ Hindu and find my enlightenment very tough; or if I were a Pagan struggling with prejudice, I surely would shut up and still continue walking the walk, right?

Why would I even bother about whether or not my Christian neighbour is saying grace at dinner, etc, etc? And God forbid that I should expect him/ her to be reading the same Sutra as I am!

+Do some of these Christians secretly wish they could be practicing what we 'heathens' are practicing?

(Further note: I'm more bewildered and not so much bothered - so don't worry, I'm pretty ‘chilled’ now.)

It must be easy to be an expert in every category when the answer to all the questions are God. When answering "God" to every question, did your score reflect your expertise or did the ignorant and evil liberal grading system discriminate against your beliefs?

In my dream the snakes were in my home and would not leave. I even grabbed one and threw it outside and it somehow got back inside my house. I eventually got a kitchen knife and cut the heads off of both snakes and wondered why I didnt do that from the begining.

My husband is a contractor and has , unitl just recently been working on a special project for a VERY wealthy client. His client has invited my husband and I to his christams party that will be hosted at his home this thurs. night. My question is I was always taught that when you go to someones house for a party you bring a small gift as a way of saying thank you for the invite ( ie wine). But my husband disagrees, he says that the man is so wealthy that anything we could afford to bring would be of no use to him and almost "no good enough". What should I do, I don't want to be rude, but I also don' want to be embarrased my bringing a $30 bottle of wine to a guy with hundred year old bottles in the cellar. Help?!!

I have a friend that is gay, doesn't ever go to church, is pro-choice and thinks it's ok to be a "cafeteria Catholic" choosing to agree with some things but not others...I say that he can't be a catholic then. He acts more like it's a democracy in which you can agree with some parts of it and not others I thought it was more like a dictatorship and not a democracy. Is he a Catholic or not?

No, I don't have hard evidence he exists, but there isn't hard evidence that he doesn't, either. If it makes people feel good to believe in a supreme being, why persecute them? There are some over-the-top types who commit crime and acts of hate in the name of God - I'm not talking about these folks. These folks are loco. But can't we just agree to disagree without calling each other "stupid" and "ignorant"?

I'd never seen a person who had one black and 3 white parents before.
From what I know of American history people who were 1/4 black where not alowed in the "white areas" but um How did they know who was 1/4 black. Did people have to carry around an id or something?

today, I found myself hugging a girl who I once considered an enemy, and crying with her and offering her advice. I felt her pain and suffering as she was dealing with a difficult family problem. I am starting to consider her my friend. Something years ago I thought would never happen.

If I can make this change in my life, could others make it to? Tell me, what turns enemies into friends?

Just a few days ago one youth shot-up a Christian Mission and then went on to shoot-up a Church . He left messages in notes and emails that he 'wanted to kill as many Christians' as he could . Not all violence is directed at Christians though . Many times it's directed in general at anyone in society . But there's also no denying that many many youths have targeted and shot classmates, teachers, family, parents, and acquaintances. And this is not something that occurred regularly before the 1980's or 1990's . The increase is astounding . The guns were far more easily attained BEFORE all of this too , so it can't be guns .
So what is it ? Selfishness? Greed? Molly-coddling our youth? Hate? ......... or maybe the obvious, the continued removal of God from many aspects of our society ?
