My Aunt says this every year. And she never wraps up the next years gifts in the old paper. What does she do with it???

LOL, not in my family, no, but we do have a slightly nutty family friend who always saves the gift wrap and bows and stuff, and she TOTALLY re-uses them! I mean, more often than not, you will get a gift from her wrapped in paper that looks like it is from the Civil War, it's so old. But, kudos to her for being "green," I guess...
Oh, and an old lady I know actually cuts up Christmas cards and makes little decoupage things out of the designs from the cards she saves.

No.. not the wrapping paper!! But we do save bows and gift tags. We reuse gift tags every year in our immediate family. Those things can get darn expensive! Best Wishes!

maybe she recycles it? if so, good on her!
its also good for packing material if you crumple it up.
we always save the paper to recycle.
we reuse cards all the time lol. if you cut the card down the middle and either save or throw away the half where the message is (the side they signed), the front half makes a great card for next year!

not the wrapping paper, but the gift bags and boxes. my grandma gathers them up and i'm like you...i never see them again. i'm not quite sure what she does with them but i do know it all goes home with her!

We save the paper to burn. We start the wood fire with it. So in my family it is the hole family.

i save my christmas paper....i am a packrat....save it with my cards....i usually save just the section with the christmas label....
