an angel. she is old and starting to show signs of her age, but so are we all! she was on the top our first christmas tree as a married couple and has been on each one since then!
over 40 years. other decorations come and go but she is constant! along with a couple of special fairies that have shown up as gifts thru the years.
merry christmas to everyone!

An imaginary star, for the imaginary Christmas tree I didn't put up!! LOL, when you have a bulldog who is a weapon of mass destruction, as I do, you'd have to be insane to put a 6-foot tree loaded with breakable ornaments and electricity anywhere near him!!

We have always used an angel... Never thought of using anything different because it's just tradition. We use an angel that my great grandmother got in 1940, it was always on her tree, when she passed away my grandmother got it, she lived with us, so we have used it for the past 16 years...

This year was our 1st year together as a family (me, fiance & daughter) & we got a new tree. Up until last weekend, it had nothing on top! But we went shopping on Saturday & got a cheesy looking star with glitter sparkles on it that also lights up! I love Xmas!
