I like to make my own up. I don't like reciting prayers that have already been written. I don't mind reading the Bible, in fact I enjoy it and I think that can be a form of praying, but I prefer to talk to God in my own language and about the things that I need advice and enlightenment on.

I love reading Psalm 91.
It is about God holding us up, lest we dash our foot against a stone-----and how we are under God's wings---and how our enemies will be our footstool--it's just wonderful.
I don't mean that WE have enemies, we have those who don't like us, because we love God.
