Yes I am. I'm heading out tonight to buy some toys for Toys for Tots. Thank you to the Marines for helping out needy kids this time of year. And tonight I volunteer at a therapeutic riding stable for kids and adults with disabilities. I find it's more like therapy for me, and make me so grateful for my health and abilities.
I can guarantee that there is at least one atheist out there buying up gifts for Christmas - my ex. It's not just Christians who get caught up in it all.
And folks, yes we are aware that the church picked December 25th as the day to celebrate Christ's birth, and it's not his actual birthday. But thanks for the well-intentioned reminder, I'm sure.
Merry Christmas, happy Hannukah, happy festivus, happy yule, merry Saturnalia, have a great sol invictus, and I guess there are still some folks celebrating Mithra!

I love Christmas, but must say that it is the most violent time of the year, what with all the robberies and killings and such. And the people out there in the shopping world are quite rude. The saying is for Christmas, is that I have to get mine before you get mine.
While I love Jesus, there is nothing in the Bible that states to celebrate his birth, so in this it is a man made Holiday and surrounded by the green $, and has hardly much to do with getting together with your family.
I prefer Thanksgiving, it is more laid back and people tend to be nicer at that time.
No I'm not a Grinch, but you must understand that with many years working in retail, I see the Good, the Bad and the Very Ugly sides of people

My kin and that i activate Christmas track, bake cookies mutually as we beautify the tree, examine the Christmas tale in the Bible, then pass using around finding on the Christmas lights fixtures. Busy evening, yet magnificent for the kin.

No, Christmas is a celebration of the Equinox, and we share that spirit by getting drunk, dancing badly and eating too much.
So yes!
