In Islam, the father has the right to salvage the family honour by killing any one of his offsprings in the name of allah. He will not be prosecuted for it. The imams or the clerics will support his 'act of honour.' Honour is important to the Muslims, more important than the sanctity of life.

This is not the only case.

Why does islam and islamic parents get extremely cross when their daughter refuse to dress up like Catholic nuns?

catholcis pray with rosaries
Muslim pray with beads

the bible forbids prayter with beads

looks like someone went out of their way to create a system of worship where a man (the pope) is to be their god, the sister to this relgion is islam

and so they are constantly at war with each other

till the pope reutrns with a solution of combining both these religions together

= nwo,

one pope, one president, one economy, one central bank, one currency
and one religion encompassing aspects of every other religion

this is why the jw's the mormons, islam and many others keep on saying that Jesus is not god,

so their false religious messages will be easier to merge into a one world religon spearheaded by the return of the next and last pope

"a new folk with no proof
anti Islamic media and naives watchers"

"Well, first i'd have to read the story, because i've never heard of it. did you have a link?"

"I never heard of this story so I would have to read it from a credible source before giving an opinion."

for those of you living apparently under rocks, have no interest in anything other than gaming, or are too lazy to do a freakin search on your own, I humbly present to you.....

http://www.mississauga.net/article/9354

"My opinion is that he should not have done that. There are really very few circumstances that would justify strangling your 16 year old daughter to death. Of course, she did disobey him on numerous occassions, shamed his family, led men into lustful, temptation and disreprespected God in a very public way, so perhaps a certain number of lashes, or maybe a public stoning, would have been more appropriate than strangulation to death"

By that reasoning then your parents should have killed you if you disobeyed, no? Didn't the OT mention it? And I don't think Canada has lashings or public stoning.......and who HASN'T " disobeyed their parents??? And one more thing, "....shamed his family, led men into lustful, temptation and disreprespected God in a very public way"

please show where you found that, no article I have seen says any of that.

Oh, and PLEEEEEASE inform us what exactly "There are really very few circumstances that would justify strangling your 16 year old daughter to death." would be......

EDIT:"Okay, i read the link from a poster below. where did it say anything about a scarf? It only said that a dad may have killed his daughter, and from their names I'm simply assuming they are Muslim... maybe you read a more in depth article than the one the poster person posted."

In all honesty and seriousness, this has been ALL OVER yahoo as well as Answers........but to "clarify" for you....

The opening line from the Yahoo News report:

"TORONTO (Reuters) - A teenager who was said to have clashed with her father about whether she should wear a traditional Muslim head scarf died of injuries late on Monday, and her father told police he had killed her."

"The story was on the front pages of Canadian newspapers on Tuesday. The newspapers quoted friends and schoolmates of the victim as saying she argued with her father over wearing a hijab, the traditional head scarf worn by Muslim females."

"In Islam, the father has the right to salvage the family honour by killing any one of his offsprings in the name of allah. He will not be prosecuted for it. The imams or the clerics will support his 'act of honour.' Honour is important to the Muslims, more important than the sanctity of life.

This is not the only case."

This was in Canada, not some hick, backwater, primitive, stone age country where they practice that garbage.

"Honour is important to the Muslims, more important than the sanctity of life."

There are so many contradictory, ironic mistakes in you saying that it is mind boggling. I think I just burst a blood vessel trying to make sense of it.

A punishment,as far as possible, should be commensurate with the offense and in this case, the father clearly shows that he didn't really love his daughter as he should have.Wrong doings of children can't be equated with those of mature people. One feels sad and sorry if such acts get committed in the name of traditions or religion and offenders allowed to go scot free.

The article shows a long standing relationship problem. I guess the father & daughter have enormous conflict on various issues besides religious views. There are husbands who murdered their wives & it's not religiously motivated.

I'm not afraid to say that Islam is a bad, bloodshedding violent religion and must be vanished from the surface of Earth.

islam is a religion of peace, don't you know ?

muslims keep repeating that over, and over, and over. Like that sentence of Goebbels: "A lie, repeated many times, ends being considered as a truth"

To amir el mohamad:
In Sudan, it was not an isolated case against the British teacher. It was mobs trying to murder her
