Doesn't Yahoo want us to have a laugh every now and again? :'( Or can't we practice our witty answers anymore?

My roommate is extremely messy and never lifts a finger to clean. She'll even follow me around as I'm scrubbing down the floors, bathroom, etc and talk to me...and she'll comment on how lazy she is! She'll walk by overflowing trash by the door and say how it smells as she walks out to leave (the dumpster is literally a 10 second walk from our front door). To top it off, she'll eat stuff of mine and not replace it which has gotten kind of expensive. Also, she's a hair stylist and says my drugstore products are "crap"...so she'll just throw them away! Not replace them with stuff she bought for me, she'll just throw them away! She's done this like 3 times and every time I say something she just shrugs and says it's bad for your hair. What should I do?!?! She has kind of a short temper so I don't know how to approach her. We have 6 months left in the lease, after which I'm definitely getting a place of my own, but I need to know how to deal with this!

Today I learned here in R&S that:

- That I worship myself
- That I claim the universe came from nothing
- That it's my responsibility to prove to people their god doesn't exist (it was pretty incoherent, but I think that's what he meant)
- That I have no morals
- That I love sin
- That I'm a fool
- That some guy in a red suit is gonna get me after I die
- That I'm unhappy
- That I live in despair
- That I'm brainwashed

How can Jesus take the sin of all mankind and then not go to Hell and serve the same punishment that all people would serve? Do you see a problem with this like I do? How can he forgive our sins if he can't suffer the same punishment?

The spiritual thing is optional, but it's R&S so there it is.

I've been drinking Tea all day. But in the back, hidden behind all the other various teas in our break room was some Green Tea with Jasmine. A rare delight I must say. Nothing could ruin my mood after that.

my heart goes out to those who lost loved ones at the colorado church shootings, but my question is what the heck kind of church needs armed securtiy guards? what the heck is going on there? are these people cultist?not even jesus had armed guards and instructed one of his deciples to lay down his sword in the garden when he was come for.

I want to send out my wedding invites with stamps that are a picture of my fiance and myself. I bought some from Photostamps.com, but they were kinda pricey, and I was wondering if there was another place to buy them from. My son told me last night that Christianity is like a gang because if you are not a part of their "group" they think they are superior to you.

If you want out, you are highly discouraged from leaving gangs. Isn't religion the same way?

In a gang if you do not agree you are then threatened to behave, same with religion. Religion threatens you with their "hell".

I thought my son made an accurate observation.

Agree?



BTW, I asked this same question last night and it was reported. Care to guess what religion the person who reported it is affiliated with? I have appealed and I fully expect to win.

I know many things we do for holidays started with something a very long time ago, i.e. trick or treating. So why do we decorate our houses with lights? Does that signify anything or do we do it just to show that we celebrate it?

seems like an odd question, doesn't it? i'm sure growing up many m.d.'s may have at one time worked at a mcdonald's or some other fast food establishment in order to earn money to pay for school or to just have extra spending money, but i doubt you'll find very many m.d.'s who profess to currently being employees of mcdonald's just because they used to work there. which brings me to my question. i was watching some show on tv where kirk cameron and this other dude were trying to get people to admit that they were liars, thieves, and adulterers because some of those people may have done those things in the past. admittedly, i have lied in the past. i don't do it anymore. does that mean i'm still a liar? am i forever marked as a liar because i used to lie? seems pretty stupid if you ask me. what do you think?

And from what I have heard the catholic church was founded First then came all the other denominations that pulled away from the church..Correct me If I am wrong I know very little Of this subject
