The best (direct, offensive and asked by a certain christian) questions on here you can answer to with a funny and witty response, are always deleted?

Doesn't Yahoo want us to have a laugh every now and again? :'( Or can't we practice our witty answers anymore?

I was talking about a certain poster who always comes up with offensive questions towards atheists. And when I find myself wanting to answer those, they always get deleted in the process of me writing my answer or before I can even read the question.

Very frustrating. In my opinion, those intentional questions to lure reactions out of people are the best ones - especially when sarcasm is your game ^_^

Yahoo has to take care of the most minute carelessness or sarcasm of people. The count to the number of people using yahoo answers is immeasurable.

Each one of us have our views, theories, suggestions and on. and like the old saying, 'What cures Sancho, makes Martha sick.' one man's best words could be offensive to the other.

In addition, there is a difference between witty and being rude. As far as i have seen, the extremely rude questions are deleted and not the witty ones.

But you are right that it is frustrating when you decide to give back the asker an answer in his own language and find the question itself being deleted!

Yahoo has to follow certain rules so that no one is hurt. And thus it deletes the question.

there's a difference between witty, and rude and off subject. im sure yahoo doesn mind if we have a laugh, but its easy to forget on the internet that its real people your talking to and that these are real questions (well some one them :) people want to know answers to, not just snide remarks...

It depends on what level of a community u want to belong to!
There are plenty other sites that tolerate abuse of other peoples feelings and beliefs.
Why don't u join one that suits your sense of humor?

When you are using insulting language, you risk your post being deleted.
