Some believe that a sense of morality can only come from a higher power and without that we would feel that we would be able to do anything without consequence.
First, is the reason you (specifically you) don't kill, rape, steal etc because you fear judgment and if so, do you think that is a noble reason to be good?
Second, would you agree that there are immoral acts glorified in a way by the bible that you know to be wrong (genocide, murder, bigotry etc)? If yes, how can you say that morality comes from the word of God if you can decide independently that it (genocide, murder, bigotry etc) is wrong?

Would you report a crime committed by your loved one? If your loved one confessed to you in confidence that they commited a crime big or small, do you see yourself turning them into the authorities or sweeping it under the rug as if nothing was said to you at all. I am with you on science and knowledge, like Darwin and other distinguished scientist, in their search for answers
We applaud them and need them,
But' I feel uncomfortable, that they can not explain the nature before the big bang.

I'm always hearing from women that men should leave the toilet seat down, but to me, it would make more sense if women (and men) would leave the toilet seat up. If you leave the toilet seat up, then it's less likely that you'll have to clean up someone elses urine on the toilet seat before you use it, (which I really hate doing). Some public toilets are actually spring loaded where they are always in the up position, and are only down when there is weight on the seat. What do you think?
