Basically it comes down to the house being a mess. A S*^t tip was the real sentence used.

hmmm.
"The house was a tip." Declarative sentence with the subject: house, verb: was (past - tense of "to be") object: tip.
"The house was a tip!" Exclamatory sentence.
"The house was a tip?" Interrogatory sentence asking if the house was a tip. You infer the punctuation by the tendency for the pitch of the latter part of the spoken sentence to be much higher than the beginning of the sentence.
"Go clean your house." Imperative sentence immediately following any of the former.
Edit after explanation: Please see this website for examples of dirty houses: http://www.squalorsurvivors.com/pictures/index.shtml

The house was a tip ... The house was a total mess ... The house was a dump. A 'tip' is British English that is the same as a dumpster is in the U.S. so it's basically saying that the house is garbage.

If the only thing was a few dog hairs, you bil is a clean fanatic. Now, if there was trash on the floor, overflowing garbage cans, dirty dishes, etc. then he would have a point.

in the event that they have been unopened they have been nonetheless good, however could are turning out to be comfortable. The vinegar/salt (brine) keeps them good for longer than the expiration date. although, in the event that they have been opened, i could say toss them because of the fact some micro organism could have grown in them over that factor era, besides the reality that maximum won't because of the fact lower back, of the brine. something pickled can final for as much as two years and often times longer, besides the reality that the pickled nutrition has a tendency to interrupt down from the brine and gets comfortable. next time merely provide the nutrition to him and tell him to eat it, which you value your well being greater beneficial than the questionable nutrition, yet he could be pleased together with his rubbish disposal of a digestive device. that could close him up !

I think in Britain they have "rubbish tips". When household waste is collected it is taken to these "tips". If 'The house was a tip' then maybe it was very messy or dirty.

I'm sorry, but if you want a good answer you're going to have to provide more details. That sentence could mean anything. It depends on the conversation that it was in.
When I say you need to provide more information, I mean you should probably tell us the conversation. Thanks.
