Does it bother you when you see Xmas? I understand that it's an abbreviation, but I just don't see why you have to abbreviate Christ out of Christmas. After all, Christmas is not about giving gifts and spending money(sorry corporations), it's about Love, spending time with your loved ones and Most Importantly, celebrating Jesus!

Wanting to murder a sweet elderly English lady, Gillian Gibbons, who went to that godforsaken land because she cared about the education of their young, demanding she be executed for allowing the children to name a teddybear muhammed! Would christians behave like this if they'd called it Jesus? Yet another shame on islam, shameful & pathetic. Is this what muhammed taught, intollerance at all costs? what a nice guy he must have been. The world will never progress till all religions are sent to the recycle bin and deleted. but yeh, hell will freeze over first, and so will Earth.

of a bear sold by the Islamic Foundation? It's called Adam the Muslim Prayer Bear. I thought all "prophets" are equal in Islam? There's an article by the BBC that mentions this, so I googled Adam the Prayer Bear. Feel free to do the same.

Here's a picture of the Bear, but it says it's been discontinued although it did exist without anyone being threatened with execution:

And as a side note, aren't you glad Ms. Gibbons is free!?

Have a great day

My ex-bf died suddenly last month. He was my 1st bf and I only have good things to say about him. Our families have remained very close or well over 10 years and even though we both had moved on with our lives, we remainded friends.

He died on a plane crash last month. I feel extremely sad for his family and also for myself. I feel guilty about feeling sad for his death because a) He was married b) I'm engaged, and I do not think that calling his family would be appropiate and I do not want to impose either.

What would be the propper etiquette here? I'm clueless

And let priests marry? There is a tremendous shortage of men entering the Catholic priesthood. And to be honest with you, I think a lot of the problems with pedophilia would be significantly reduced if they were allowed to.

For anyone that was watching the funeral of NFL Star, Sean Taylor: the pastor said that people will be judged by the "trend" of their life. If they were doing good most of their life they shall receive a Godly reward. How many people believe that?
I don't think being a christian and going to heaven is based on a "trend" it is a lifestyle.

My husband has 3 secretaries and 2 managers that work for him. They are all elderly females. He needs ideas on unique Christmas presents for them. Last year he gave them all very unique diamond necklaces and took them all out for a very expensive lunch. He wants to put together a gift basket with sausages, crackers, etc...but he wants to add something special to each one. Any ideas?

im just wondering, i just watched this sasquatch thing on the discovery channel, and ive been thinking about it a lot lately. ive watched the patterson fil lots of times and now that i think about it it seems kind of real.but wouldnt we have found like a body of sum sort?? if they breed, they should also die. and if there ahve been sighting for over 50 years, i think there would be sum dead bodies lying around. how come we have never found one before? and lots of people describe it differently. and the people who have claimed to have seen it mightve been hoaxed by a teenager or sumthing, and they might have not known it. i mean, thats sumthing that me and my friends would do, lol. =P please only serious answers.

IF I KNEW

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more
If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time,!
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say 'I love you,'
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.
There will I always be another day
to say 'I love you,'
And certainly there's another chance
to say our 'Anything I can do?'
But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear, Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear
Take time to say 'I'm sorry,'
'Please forgive me,' 'Thank you,' or 'It's okay.'
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about to day.
Send this to at least 5 people to show your support.
PLEASE DON'T BREAK IT!!!!!!

I mean the prisoners who are serving life terms, with no chance of parole, why not use them as Guinea Pigs, I mean that way companies won't need to pay participants to try out new drugs, and you won't have to use animals (even though humans are animals). I mean ,I see it as win win for mankind.

Test drug on humans to see it they actual work.

I think I have proven I am not going to be swayed far from my goal by some silly response to my questions. I have responded to hundreds of intelligent questions and have been swayed sometimes. I am not an iron bar. I bend very easily. When someone comes on with a positive attitude.
I use any way possible to further my goal. Atheism, Christianity, make you angry, incite a riot etc. Whatever. Do I make mistake hell yes I do and am damned proud of it. I am the very first to admit my mistakes.I will never go forward without making mistakes. That alone puts me way ahead of the pack. I have made every mistake. So I can do things "right".That does not mean I automatically accept someones version of anything. Chances are whatever you offer is something that has been offerd a hundred times before. Come with something new you created. I do not care how crazy it is. If it presented with sincerity I will not ignor it. Forget suggesting drugs. I do not lower myself to that level. How 'bout you?

Not necessarily a new song but a modern performer recording of it. Along the lines of Madonna's "Santa Baby", Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmas), and Crash Test Dummies "The First Noel".

I am not degrading using electric guitars, drums, etc... if they are being used for the right reasons. However, lately, it seems like the whole point of the "worshipping" portion of the service is to see how good the music leader can sing and not sing to glorify God. Have you ever walked out of a church or felt like walking out of a church because of this? If you are a Christian, how do you feel when people are making a party out of what happened to Jesus on Calvary?
