It's December 26th, but I can't remember the correct reason why it's called Boxing Day.

It's the day after Xmas (unless Xmas is on a Saturday, in which case Boxing Day is supposed to be on the Monday).

Over the years Boxing Day and St. Stephen's Day have become entwined.

Today it is usually just celebrated as the day after Xmas.

The Holiday's roots can be traced to to Britain as St Stephens day - giving cash or gifts to the lower classes.

We don't have Boxing Day in the US, it is only celebrated in -civilized- countries.

But as I understand it, it's the day after Christmas, when children all fight over their new toys, hence 'Boxing Day'.
