I think I have proven I am not going to be swayed far from my goal by some silly response to my questions. I have responded to hundreds of intelligent questions and have been swayed sometimes. I am not an iron bar. I bend very easily. When someone comes on with a positive attitude.
I use any way possible to further my goal. Atheism, Christianity, make you angry, incite a riot etc. Whatever. Do I make mistake hell yes I do and am damned proud of it. I am the very first to admit my mistakes.I will never go forward without making mistakes. That alone puts me way ahead of the pack. I have made every mistake. So I can do things "right".That does not mean I automatically accept someones version of anything. Chances are whatever you offer is something that has been offerd a hundred times before. Come with something new you created. I do not care how crazy it is. If it presented with sincerity I will not ignor it. Forget suggesting drugs. I do not lower myself to that level. How 'bout you?

I am looking through your statements and trying to figure out if there is any part of it that Hitler would not have agreed with as a description of his own thoughts and actions?

While I am NOT calling you "Hitler", I am hopefully making you realize that just because something seems "right" or "pure" to you does make it so. Nor the the philosophy of using anything to further your goal ("the ends justified the means") have a lot of support through history. It seems to be the source of a lot of the atrocities committed by people.

Christianity teaches that there are certain moral absolutes. there are things that right and things that are wrong. Motives, goals, "pure thoughts", etc, can not alter the two. Adultery is wrong no matter how much you "love" the other person, for example.

I don't know that "what other people think" is nearly as big an issue as how other people are affected. Every action has a consequence - including its affect on others. If we were paying more attention to how it affects others, it might have a big impact on how we live our lives. (The old "Do unto others..." idea.)

Just some things for you to think about....

If your "heart is right" and your "motives are pure", then you wouldn't be proud of mistakes... you would be generating regret and working on ways to never do them again.

OK. Not sure of your point here.

I think we should all believe only what makes sense to us.

I'm quite confused. What exactly are you asking here?
