Any willful negative or unfair occurrence that you had to endure simply because of your religious beliefs.
I have not endured religious persecution as of yet. I've only experienced being labeled as a christian for which I am honored and humbled because I am aware that people are wathching how I live out my faith in Jesus Christ.

Religious persecution can only happen when someone is prevented from practicing their faith openly, so long as that person is not forcing their beliefs on others. If a religious person is forcing their personal beliefs on other people and there is a natural BACKLASH then that is not persecution; it's consequence.

I define it as any negative action that is taken because of religion, or lack thereof. Examples would be the action of making a religion illegal (such as in the Soviet Union), or the action of forcing someone to convert to a religion; the categorization of people as "heathen" because they don't practice a specific religion is also religious persecution, in my view.
Yes, I have felt it, and it is very unpleasant.

Sorry, but being spat in the face or told you can't worship somewhere, isn't religious persecution.
Read "Tortured for Christ" by Richard Wurmbrand or "Foxe's Book of Martyrs" by John Foxe to get a glimpse of what religious persecution truly is.
With exception to perhaps a few rare circumstances, we in America haven't experienced what religious persecution really is. However, I believe we aren't far away from seeing it, particularly to us Christians.

The European Pope recently announced that all USA Protestants go to hell.
The European Pope was able to make that announcement as a non-profit, tax-exempt religion.
In my view that is unfair and unAmerican.
It's religious hate speech.
The USA Supreme Court should yank the non-profit/tax-exempt status of all the European Catholic Churches immediately.

Yeah all the time, if I don't believe I am threatened, yelled at, made fun of, laughed at all of it. So hence my hatred towards those books.

Had a coworker who always had lunch with me, got along great and we never talked about religion. One day she brought it up and found out I was Pagan, she was Baptist.
She stood up, spit in my face, and never talked to me again. So, yea, I can say I've experienced it before.
