American Atheists

We have three primary goals.
1. TO SECURE OUR FREEDOM FROM RELIGION
2. TO LABOR FOR, IN ALL LAWFUL WAYS, THE COMPLETE AND ABSOLUTE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE
3. TO DEFEND THE CIVIL RIGHTS OF ATHEISTS.

I was a member of the Evil Athiest Conspiracy (not that they exist of course as they're a very secretive bunch) or "EAC" for short.

Then I got tired of all the orgies, destruction of religious relics and commando type black helicopter raids and have been living under an assumed name ever since.

Yeah, I joined American Atheists about 15 years ago. But they weren't particularly active in my area, so I didn't re-up. And I went to a couple of meetings of a local freethinkers organization a few years back but didn't join. I'm just not much of a joiner.

No but I was in Mensa for a few years which seemed to have an abnormally high percentage of atheist members. I worked for NASA for a while too, which also was heavily atheist.

I just recently joined an atheist meetup group. I haven't had the opportunity to go to one of their meetings yet. When I go to one I'll let you know what it's all about.

I'm not sure they had a mission statement.
I was just in it because I am opposed to organized religion, and I left because they seemed like they wanted to organize atheism into a religion that worships Darwin.

The atheist mafia is not an organization. It does not exist. Pay no attention to it. Go along your way. Nothing to see here.

I once belonged to a group called the " We don't believe in God, which means we do not have morals, and will gladly kill you in your sleep club", or WDBIGWMWDNHMAWGKYIYS Club for short. We mostly played poker and read comics in my mother's basement.
