They are doing it today as a matter of fact. Just across the street from the queer atheist recruitment center. They have signs that say "Love thy neighbor. not thy larder" and "Enough with the fatted calf already".

1. To those who are taking this question seriously- I think the asker is just making a point.

2. Christian doesn't mean "christ like". A Christian is someone who believes that Jesus is "The Christ", "The Son of God", and so on... and who supposedly STRIVES to be "christ like". True, it's generally accepted that Jesus wasn't a homosexual. But it's also generally accepted that Jesus didn't smoke, over eat, use profanity, have sex, or give in to any temptation whatsoever. Get my point?

3. No, I've never heard a Christian defending gluttony. However, I don't see any of them rushing to the pulpit to tell the world how sinful it is either. Truth of the matter is that many Christians only harp on the so-called sins which annoy them the most.

4. The Bible plainly teaches that homosexuality is a sin? Umm, the Bible is VERY open to interpretation. And besides, it has been translated over and over again ad nauseam. How is anyone supposed to know that they're reading what was originally written? Do you know ancient greek and hebrew? And what about all of the scripture for which no scrolls have been found (the books that exist solely due to the passing on of oral tradition)?

Jesus did not have to speak of such a thing. It was clearly understood that All homosexual people are given over for destruction, as stated in the old testament. So why would Christ address that which will be carried out. The Sad fact is that is a person is reformed and truly repentant ( meaning they have turned from there life style and have turned to Christ) , then they indeed would have leave that lifestyle. Or it is just hot air. And many think they can remain as they are and recieved the gift of salvation. Salvation demands a change of heart and understanding. Some are saved who turn from there sin, But many are lost.

No one pickets against the obese. If they did, I hope that someone would tear them a new one. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of gays, to the extent that they are reprimanded without any ill effect. As illustrated by earlier answers, in fact, gay Christians are rarities because they all but chased out of the church if they ever admit their homosexuality. Sad, really...

Being obese is much more acceptable to the Christians than being gay. That does not mean it is not a sin according to the bible it just means that since gluttony is much more popular they look the other way. Just like they do when the command of Paul in 1 Corinthians 14: is not kept.

God Slayer,

I have never noticed gay christians protesting obese christians.

Do you ever find obese christians that deny that being obese and living a lifestyle of obesity is a sin?

I have not.... most of the obese christians I know are ashamed of their food addiction and ask for prayer and other means of support to help them be obedient to God's word with regard to honoring God with your body.

Why do so many homosexuals, who claim to be born again believers in Christ Jesus, so strongly defend their lifestyle when the Bible plainly teaches that homosexuality is a sin?
