If you phrase anything that you believe to be true in the right way, you can make it sound silly. It comes down to how you play around with words.

Here's an example:

Atheists believe that bananas are our relatives. This IS a fact. Evolution states that every single living thing is indirectly related to everything else because we all came from a single celled ancestor.

This sentence makes evolution seem silly regardless of whether or not it is true.

The same thing goes for Christianity.

The fact remains though that the Bible is TRUE. If God is all powerful, then who says he couldn't turn a woman into salt, or provide a way for the other miracles?

These miracles were historical events. They HAPPENED.

All you need is faith to believe.

Agree?

What are some of your best tips for being a Grinch this Christmas?

ex) Lower the heat before guests arrive. You’ll save energy and the extra body heat generated by guests will warm the room.

John, the only "verily verily" gospel account, mentions two resurrections of "Jesus" in John 5; And the latter of twain is notably "of damnation", for some only. However Christ speaks of one resurrection, of all, at the last day, and not to damnation (law), but unto salvation (grace).

So then, should we even consider two resurrections, if the latter is of damnation; Especially if told many times having respect of persons (partiality) is neither good nor of God?

What about Jesus is Son of man, should repent: Numbers 23:19? What about Jesus is standing right on high, but Christ is seated right and higher than the heavens on high? What about twice fallen requires twice risen for reconciliation? What about CJ is mirrorly the reverse of JC? What about false Christs shall arise to DECEIVE, if possible? What about appearances can be deceiving, so judge not after appearances, but judge righteous judgment (grace judgment)?

I'm just curious because we are despised by so many across the world. Indians don't want to be associated with us even when some of them are as dark as black people, we are rarely used on TV unless it's a comedy show/movie/sports. Then people want to say it's because we're violent and angry, but who wouldn't be when you're treated with either indifference or disgust? It's sad. I honestly want to know why people don't want to be bothered with blacks. Is it the hair or the wide features or the dark skin or what is it???

when people ask questions on why christians do this and why atheists do that. basically persecuting each other. when the hard core truth about it is there is bad and good apples in each category. im catholic, but to not be a hypocrit i will add that im not a perfect person, i try not to judge. then why does so many christians(catholic, method., baptis., etc) judge others (not all of course), and why do so many atheists(not all) care about what christians do if they dont believe? im not trying to be a smart a** about this question, i really dont get it.

Lately I have been kind of upset with God, here is why:

People! People who call themselves Christians to be persise. Many of whom would be yelling with a fist in your face "I love you but I hate your sins!!". Frankly the last thing i feel is love when communicating with them. They seem only too happy to pick on other people's 'sins' instead of focusing on their own, and they justify their blantant hatered and bigotry with God (which I think is so wrong). I mean how can they judge another person when they cannot possibly know what it is like to be that person?

I'll be lying if I said that those people don't hurt me, because they do. Maybe I'm being too sensative but I can't help it. So lately I've been feeling kind of upset with God because I'm thinking like "Why don't you show those people just how much they hurt others and how wrong that is?". I know it is not God's fault that they're like that, but why doesn't he do anything to enlighten those people? Am I right to be upset?

I have prayed, fasted and tried to lead a good life by the grace of God for years yet one of the prayers I want answered the most God does not give to me. I am asking for a good thing yet it always evades me. It can upset me sometimes yet I know the Lord is always Good - a paradox in my soul.

Athiests and clowns - just because God does not answer my prayer the way I like does not mean he does not exist. I have faith in him even if he never grants me this desire for he Is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. "HE HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS Luke 1:53
