Hear Me Out First.

And please answer with sense. I'm asking a legitimate question.
I mean what is the use of providing food, shelter and cable tv. The general things for them, if there is no chance for them getting out ever and leading a normal life. There are just going to die in there so what's the use of keeping them alive in prisons?

Same with the mentaly ill, why keep them on this earth, if they are typically of no use.

Why not make them useful as test subjects because that is the only way we will every know if a certain drug works on humans. And there is a surplus. of them. I mean think of all we could really learn if tested on humans. Think of how far science could advance.

Please give a reasonable answer, as to why or why not.

Also if you are offended I cry your pardon.

suppose you go to see a Disney movie and yet the whole schtick is just too maudlin, too absurd to stomach and you go out to blow chunks. Do you then decide to NEVER SEE ANY MOVIES AGAIN because you think that's all there is to movies? Obviously the fundamentalists view of religion is naive at best, immature and dangerous at worst. But the universe ISN'T a dichotomy of fundamentalists on one side and absolute athiesm on the other. Why don't you keep exploring?

Homosexuals and lesbians are religion's most hated. They are followed by women who want equality and non-believers.

Is there something hidden, inherent in all religions, where a god of sorts watching over you implies his preference towards you, meriting bigotry towards others? Or is this simply human group behaviour?

Please share your thoughts.

An old lady gets pulled over for speeding...

Old Lady: Is there a problem, Officer?

Officer: Ma'am, you were speeding.

Old Lady: Oh, I see.

Officer: Can I see your license please?

Old Lady: I'd give it to you but I don't have one.

Officer: Don't have one?

Old Lady: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving.

Officer: I see ... Can I see your vehicle registration papers, please?

Old Lady: I can't do that.

Officer: Why not?

Old Lady: I stole this car.

Officer: Stole it?

Old Lady: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.

Officer: You what?

Old Lady: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to see.

The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up.

Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car.

A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his
half drawn gun.

Officer 2: Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please!

The woman steps out of her vehicle.

Old Lady: Is there a problem sir?

Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.

Old Lady: Murdered the owner?

Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.

The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?

Old Lady: Yes, here are the registration papers.

The officer is quite stunned.

Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.

The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer.

The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and hacked up the owner.

Older Woman: Bet the liar told you I was speeding, too.

I am Catholic and choose to follow the last guidelines formally given by my faith. I am not saying this is a requirement, but my choice.

The good of our soul is more important than that of our body; and we have to prefer the spiritual welfare of our neighbor to our bodily comforts. If a certain kind of dress constitutes a grave and proximate occasion of sin, and endangers the salvation of your soul and others, it is your duty to give it up. O Christian mothers, if you knew what a future of anxieties and perils, of ill-guarded shame you prepare for your sons and daughters, imprudently getting them accustomed to live scantily dressed and making them lose the sense of modesty, you would be ashamed of yourselves and you would dread the harm you are making of yourselves, the harm which you are causing these children, whom Heaven has entrusted to you to be brought up as Christians."

Pius XII to Catholic Young Women's Groups of Italy

THIS LEAFLET DISTRIBUTED BY: THE LEAGUE FOR MODESTY IN DRESS, NY
The Church speaks about Modesty
Pope Benedict XV has taught very clearly about modesty in an encyclical letter (Sacra Propediem, 1921), commemorating the 7th centenary of the founding of the Franciscan Third Order.

"One can not sufficiently deplore the blindness of so many women of every age and station. Made foolish by a desire to please, they do not see to what degree the indecency of their clothing shocks every honest man and offends God. Most of them would formerly have blushed for such apparel as for a grave fault against Christian modesty. Now it does not suffice to exhibit themselves on public thoroughfares; they do not fear to cross the threshold of churches, to assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and even to bear the seducing food of shameful passions to the Eucharistic Table, where one receives the Heavenly Author of Purity
