No idea. Lived there for 2 years and remember the Cathedral. Used to teach English in their Church Hall to Vietnamese refugee children.
Last time I looked, Catholics were Christians.
There is a big difference between Religion and denomination.
Religion is the overall term, e.g. Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist.
Denomination refers to the branch of that religion to which you belong. In Christianity this could be Roman or Anglo Catholic, Greek or Russian Orthodox and a whole host of others. In Islam it could be Shia or Sunni and also a whole host of others.
Jews have Orthodox Jews and those who are more liberal.
Sissy C: Catholic actually means 'universal'. Where did you get the idea that people are not allowed to convert to Christianity? This is surely against what Jesus said to his disciples. 'Go and spread the Word.'
Of course he didn't mean Christianity, he meant tolerance, peace and forgiveness.

Your question is either poorly constructed or deliberately aimed at offending Catholics. Surely everyone knows that Catholics (Roman, Latin Rite, Eastern Rite, Anglo ,et al) are Christians - perhaps you might care to elucidate?
