I am currently in a musical at school when my director threaten to kick me out if I did not come to a rehersal on a Wednesday night after school that conflicts with the time of my church. Since my father is a pastor it in unavoidable for me to be there. I believe my teacher should not be able to kick me out just because I am going to church since that is a violation of my religion, and accourding to the 1st amendment we have freedom of religion. More closely I am looking at the Free Exercise Clause which prohibts the goverment from interfering with a person's practice of his or her religon. Since the school is a government run facility shouldn't this law apply to them too? Do you think it is far to a school to say this to a child. Please help me with this dilima.

is it true that scientologists will "come after you" if you spak out anything negative?

about them or an ex scientologist that wants to speak out against them..or is that just a scare tactic to keep people in fear of revealing thier beliefs and practices to outsiders? and what are the core element to the religion?

Christians ?? Why did God create Marijuana??

I don't smake it but I always hear my father talking and he says "If God didn't want us to smoke it he wouldn't of allowed it to come out of the ground" ...

I have also talked to people who have claimed that they think it gives you a little taste of what it feels like to be in heaven ...

thanksgiving?

ok so thanksgiving is comeing up, and i need some help. i know a few things i want to make but i need to know some other traditional ideas. i plan on making turkey, mashed patotes with gravy, corn on the cob, stuffing, and of course pumpkin pie, and rolls. is that enough or do i need something else. its just me my husband and 2 kids, so its not huge, but any more ideas?

I need help =[?

ok so im pakistani so we practice marraige between cousins. my brother was engaged to be married to my cousin, my dads brothers daughter, whom i love very much. but she died 2 years ago when she was 18. =[

so my brother, a year ago, said he wanted to be married to my other cousin, my dads sisters daughter. both my parents agreed because shes a great girl and we all love her.

so my mom called their house and asked her mom for her hand in marraige and they said yes, after asking her. my parents did this w/o asking my dads brother.

when my dads brother and his sons and daughters (they r all over 20) found out, they werent even happy b/c they were kinda jealous cause their daughter was supposed to get married to my brother.

so from tht day to now, they keep telling my dad false information abt my dads sister and her children. their objective is to get my dad to break the engagement. but i dont want tht to happen. wat can i do? can i even do anything?

I almost got thrown out of my creationism class once already -- when the teacher asked for examples of intelligent design, I raised my hand and shouted ADAM'S NIPPLES.

If i DJ under the name "Sexy Allah" would this be deemed offensive? in London, UK?

Well i DJ already and want to change my name and i think that Sexy Allah would be comical and yet also catchy. would this cause offense to people and would i be inviting trouble at the evenings i play, or would it generally be considered as just a DJ name as it is. i'd be interested to know what people of all ages cultures and religions think about this, and also people in varying parts of the world.

Is it true that there was an expose on tv about wal-mart getting stuff/ abusing third-world ppl for profit?

ATTENTION WAL-MART SHOPPERS!!!!! Is this true or was this guy who told me, pulling my leg to get me not to go to Wally world?? He knows I go there alot to buy almost everything, groceries, what ever I need. Did I miss it on tv?? I am not trying to make ppl mad, or violate any Y answers rules, but I am curious. Did it really happen?? I already know about the workers being mistreated, women being mistreated/ no pay/ no breaks, ect. what is the deal with that??
