The Gospel according to the NT four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John). That these books haven't been corrupted at all.

Marc, Jesus doesn't write down our sins. He didn't come to condemn us, but so we could have life & have life more abundantly. When we receive his atonement for our sins, our sins are washed away & thrown into the sea of forgiveness & forgetfulness. Our sins aren't written in the book of life. Our names are written in the book of life.
At the Great White Throne Judgment people are judged according to works. But then the book of life is opened & whoever's name isn't found in there, then they get thrown into the lake of fire.

Labor, I love my parents. I obey them in the Lord. Jesus told me to Love God, & to love others. But the loving others comes second. Jesus said that to be a 'disciple' we need to Love God & Gods Word above our parents. Jesus said this is loving God & hating parents. Some parents will disown us if we study & believe God & His Word.

sh m, So you are 100% sure Allah will be pleased with you, because you rejected Jesus Christ, the Son of God & atonement for your sins & resurrection? Why? There is no atonement for your sins. So? What is Allah going to say about that?

Robin, In the Gospels Jesus said somethings would be written... Like the Lady who washed His feet from the precious oils in the Alibaster box. Jesus said that this would be written in the bible as a memorial of her & what she did. She anointed Jesus body for burial.

dewcoons. The Christians in Damascus who still speak the Arminian language also still must have the Arminian Gospel. I would love to compare that with the other original Greek NT.

St. Nearly. What was written in the foundational Gospels was for us to have faith. That is why it is good to have all 4 in 1 book. If every fantastic thing Jesus did was written in the bible then the bible would be as big as the whole world.

Mark & Luke were close associates to the 12 Apostles & I think lived in the Time of Jesus too.

We have today, still in existence, over 2,300 manuscripts of the New Testament books which predate the time of the Nicean Council that alledged altered the Bible. Yet these 2,300 manuscripts are word for word indentical to the text used to translate Bibles today. Some of those manuscripts date to within 20 years (or less) of the originals.
Many of these manuscripts do not come to us through the Catholic church, but rather were preserved by the Coptic Christians, Armenian Christians, and other groups that were not only separate, but often hostile to the Roman church. They would have no motive to alter their documents to match the dictates of the Roman church.
With that amount of support for the text of the New Testament, it becomes difficult to support a belief that they have been altered or corrupted.

How many times has the Bible been translated? Is there anything that can be translated that does not loose some of its integrity in the translation? The Bible was translated from Hebrew, Greek, Latin, etc, etc,. All of these translations have then been translated into several other languages including English. The King James Authorized version is said to be the most accurate or complete translation of the letters and documents that comprise the compilation known as "The Holy Bible"; however, if you read the last verse of the book of John you will find there some room for reasonable doubt that the four gospels are all inclusive. Now, to back to your origional question: I believe that the doctrines of Christ the Savior are mostly intact within the scriptures (all of the scriptures, because there are many that are not in the Bible).

I thought salvation was by faith alone. If that's the case, what difference does it make if you believe the gospels were corrupted or not? I could go and nuke five or six cities and kill millions of people, but it wouldn't matter if I've accepted Jesus as my savior.
By the way, the last eleven verses of Mark were not in the original, so they have been changed, and you have no proof to the contrary.
Edit: Faith does not equal proof. I can have faith I will win the lottery, but that does not make it so. I studied religion for six years in college, there are changes in the Bible from the original text and it's actually pretty common knowledge among scholars.

I'll ask God why he let others write over what was supposed to be written. Why he let those folks in the council of Nicene chose only 4 books from all the others. I'll ask him why he let the books contradict each other, eg Jesus last words on the cross and so on.
I'd probably cause a queue because of all my questions. So try and stay ahead of me in the line.
Peace.

And how is it that you know that those gospels have not been corrupted. Were you there. The best that anyone has been able to determine is that the gospels were written 20 to 120 years after Christ. I don`t think you were there and those people who wrote the gospels weren`t there with Christ either.

Well, for starters, of those four, the ascension was mentioned by only two -- and those two mentioned it in one sentence each.
You'd think that Jesus going up into the sky and becoming a god would be a big event, but apparently not....

Gospels are written by people closely following Christ...they were able to reflect what exactly happened during the time of Jesus...how can we say that they are corrupted ? I agree that they have been translated a lot of times but still has the content intact....

To your first question, probably, "oops."
I think it has less to do with how you believe the Bible and way more to do with what are you going to do with the info it presents.
The authority of scripture lies in its ability to move you to action or encounter. Go beyond the reading, and go out to serve in love. THIS is the Gospel of Christ.
...and here come thr thumbs down.....
peace regards respects

If there is a God I am sure he is aware of how much the bible has been tamper with. There are more contradictions then in any other book I know. If God is not in confusion then why all the confusion? That is what I will ask him if he is even real;....
