If radioactive materiel has a half life, that allows you to date its age does this imply?
Its Decay started at a specific moment in time?
So I was wondering how did things start being radioactive?
Is there a moment or process identifiable with the start of this decay?

Or are radioactive substances in a state of decay from the moment they come into existence?

Have you ever really thought about what you are celebrating and why it is still being celebrated?
Thanksgiving was a massacre not a pleasant meal between the Natives and pilgrims. The pilgrims were too lazy to work their land as the Natives taught them to do so they murdered them by the villiage and stole their food reserves and then had a huge feast in honor of their own selfishness.
Still to this day Natives are depicted in a clownish manner on this holiday. Your children are still being taught lies and ignorance and therefore my children suffer.
How thankfull are you?

I have a blank spot in my course next year, which is a French major and am struggling to decide whether to pick up a third 'living' language or go back to where it all began.
Any pros/cons/comments would be appreciated.

In 389 A.D. the Catholic Church finally caught up with the rest of christianity and 'cannonized' the set of books we non-catholics call the New Testament.

The Apocrypha was rejected at this time by the Catholic Church.

However, throughout all centuries after this if the Catholic Church found any other version of the Bible in any other langugage it burned it.

After the Protestants got fed up with the Catholic Church and joined us non-catholics the Roman Church proceeded to condemn the Protestant Bible and burn it as well.

Based upon these facts of History I have posted this question. I am trying to understand this contradiction.

After posting a spate of questions and answers in defence of Islam against the popular propoganda which deliberately makes no difference in equating Islam with Terrorism, I have concluded that there is a THICK SCHISM of trust. On one side of this schism are those intelligent nonmuslims who refuse to buy this malicious propoganda and prefer to explore for themselves. On the other side are those nonmuslims who 'WANT' to stick with their prejudices and do not want to see beyond the locked doors of their closed minds. They feed themselves by calling muslims 'fanatic', conviniently forgetting that they are not any better. If terrorism is no solution to problems of suffered and suppressed communites or is, obviously, not going to do any good to humanity then painting everybody belonging to the community or religion of these "terrorists" in the same colour will not help either. Inspite of muslims , on this forum, giving repeated statements of condemnation of terrorism on behalf of Islam, these hard nuts refuse to crack .
This makes me wonder if they are really scarred by the terrorism scene or they were perpetual haters of Islam. They never expressed their opinions before 9/11 as it would have made no sense at all and they would have only looked bad in the larger picture. But unfortunately, when an incident as henious as 9/11 happened in one of the most well to do countries of the world, their fervent got a chance to go public, what with the rest of the world echoing the same(justifiably so). Worst of all, when they can't do much in the face of the peace loving nonmuslims(who are on the better side of this schism) they get down to ridiculing the values and belief structure of ISLAM, clearly taking advantage of the fact that not all have read QURAAN, and that with very little known about the importance of reading QURAAN with explanatory text or TAFSIR(amongst muslims also, leave alone nonmuslims) , most of the people reading the holy book are bound to fall for apparent meaning of the verses. But, in the midst of all this, has any one stopped to think that if things continue in this manner, it won't be too late before a new breed of so called "terrorists" will keep getting ready to join the band of the one's who already exist on the scene, scotfree. These new kids on the block will be a byproduct of the injustice metted out to them by these very 'HARD NUTS'.

The complexity of the universe and of us...
The DNA in our bodies that is the microscopic code to uniqueness from our parents and gives uniqueness to our children is over 75 miles long, and keeps working to grow, replace cells...
The earth stays in an orbit that allows us to live comfortably, and is not too far or too close to the sun.
That the ecosystem on Earth sustains life by having plants and animals that feed us throughout the world and are naturally watered throughout the world by water being brought to them in rain... that trees recycle harmful gases into life-sustaining ones...
That our bodies have the ability to see around us, hear sounds and understand language, enjoy the touch of another person and the taste of our food...
That we have the capacity to reason, choose our direction freely, use our skills to make a living and share ourselves with others in romantic love and in friendships...
God's image...the good things... kindness, generosity, patience, wisdom, gratitude...

he had not been God-therefore he died for us because he loved us-true?

Then why did he ask " where are you Adam" and why did he fall for it when it came to Job . The Devil said of course he loves you, take away and he wont.
Then God killed his sons and daughters to make a point? Just to replace them later. Hell if I lost one of my children, having another would not be the same. I would not care how pretty.
And God is a jealous God ? , Is that not wrong?

All nations African, Chinese, Europeans, etc have traditional fairy stories. These stories were there before organised religion and before these people met, surely it is more realistic to believe in faries as they all knew about them, than a god which non of them had heared of until they were told.
