Dawed,
It really is much more than that. It makes a difference who is on the Q&A line at any given time. There are generally some great Wiccan and Muslim questions asked every day. I have learned a great deal about other's beliefs by listening and learning. That is why we were born with two ears and one mouth... Have a great week.
Thanks,
Eds

I wouldn't say it's high as 90% but it is up there. It could be the fact that the country is mostly made up of christians or that Christianity as a religion has undercurrents of 'proclaiming the word' and hence they are more likely to want to talk about their religion (and before the individuals start screaming at me - yes there are exceptions, I'm talking in general.) I have seen discussions about other religions and enjoy them, but it is just not as common.

It's because Yahoo is American-based. And most of the people on her are American. So, unfortunately, that means that anything "religion"-themed is going to be Christianized. Something you can say for the general American public: they're fairly predictable in this regard and also extremely narrow minded. I love to ask them, "What if you're wrong? What if another religion is right?"

I for one certainly don't equate my spiritual being to Christianity...If anything I am a Paganist - Agnostic. Also one can be spiritual without having a Religion so that equation is completely bogus and wrong. PEACE!

That Word "Christian" is used in Many Ways.
To become a Christian, FIRST you have to get your Spirit (SPIRIT) Recreated.
Then, after your a Child of GOD, you have to Walk Closely with Jesus to get your SPIRIT in Order---to become a "Christian" (Christ-Like for the World to see and experience).
Both of these things have to do with the "Spiritman" which is SPIRITUAL in Nature.
That is why I AM on here, to Help the Spiritman FIRST.
I Qualify to Answer Questions in Yahoo R&S.
Thanks!

I think that the % fluctuates at different times....there seems to be a need by certain faiths to feel as if they have to convert others, then in the midst of throwing stone, if one gets hurt in retalitation...they play the victim card!
There is plenty of coversation on all sides....it just depends on the moment at hand and who is around....
Blessings to you

That's easy. Because every other religion is so easily accepted in this society. Today we accept things such as Scientology. But say you believe in Jesus Christ and that he died on the cross so that we can have eternal life and that you don't drink, smoke, fornicate, etc...well, that just gets people going because it the TRUTH

All of the other tens of thousands of gods ever invented are false but the Christian gods (Christianity is really a polytheistic religion) are true.

Because the two greatest resources for Atheism is the Bible and Christianity.
Nothing better proves that religion is dangerous and anti-science.

This country is primarily Christian. Also Christians are the most likely to talk about their faith other than Muslims.
