ok so thanksgiving is comeing up, and i need some help. i know a few things i want to make but i need to know some other traditional ideas. i plan on making turkey, mashed patotes with gravy, corn on the cob, stuffing, and of course pumpkin pie, and rolls. is that enough or do i need something else. its just me my husband and 2 kids, so its not huge, but any more ideas?

Maybe cranberries? Not the "shaped like a can" ones, but real cooked and sweet ones. YUM Or Squash with brown sugar is always a favorite at my house.

How about less carbs. Potatoes AND corn AND stuffing AND rolls? You are not making a vegetable? How about fresh string beans? Brussels sprouts? Teach your family to eat vegetables. It's your job. Make a salad too. No heavy dressing either. How about a vegetable soup to start? Don't forget homemade cranberry sauce. Buy a package and follow the recipe. Make it ahead.
