In the book of Jude the angel Michael does not rebuke Satan he says the Lord rebuke thee. He could not rebuke Satan and had to call upon God.

Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

In Matthew where Jesus is tempted He rebukes Satan Himself. He tells him to leave basically without calling upon anyone.

Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

If Jesus and Michael are the same being why could Jesus rebuke Satan and Michael couldn't?

For whatever crazy reason, I have money stored thoughout the house.1 coffee can full of pennies, 1 half full of nickles, dimes and quarters, 1 just recently started with Canadian money only and finally the laundry coffee can. The laundry coffee can is there because those of my household forget to empty their pockets. I have told them, whatever money is found belongs to the laundry room. Well, up to five dollars. Anything above that, they get an ear full then their money. All this collected stashed money is our mad money for those wacky weekends to spend recklessly. LOL
How about you seniors? Do you maintain coffee cans for such money?

I have just been listening to a 1 hour long sermon by a Christian named Paul Washer. I was very impressed and sobered by his message but what i want to know is this,,,

Is he really genuine in his sermons? What criticism has he gone under.
Im asking this because he sounds too good to be true,,
(in a good way) and also because I have been dissapointed by too many false prophets etc. Well im not sure if i can call them false but most of them seem more fake than others, like Creflo A Dollar,Joyce Meyers,T.D Jakes, Joel Osteen.
The reason I say this is because all of these guys are absurdly rich. They live lavish lives and they buy the kind of clothes, jewelrry cars and houses most of their followers will bever have. How can such people preach honstly to us. And how can we as followers listen to their sermons without being distracted by the wealth and celebrity status they have.??!!!!!

Why can't American admire simple, honest, good citizen American heroes? In Italy where most famous modern gangsters were born, to be a gangster is second lower than to be a gay men.
They don't admire you and the girl don't fall for you.You just a scumbag, a detritus of society. It come with no surprise that criminality in the U.S.A have always been record high.Every black teenagers want to be gangsters because their idols is alpacino, Robert de niro.African American Gangster rap admire the Italian mafia, whom by the way, use to look down on black people back in the days.Italian mafia is responsible for the infection of Harlem African American population with cocaine and later with crack. The Italian chiefs use to say never sell it to our kids, sell it to the N**r, they have no soul. That's how racist the mafia was during the 1970s.A good portion of newyork city African American population was hook on drugs. The consequence is the Hip-pop generation that was born from their lineage til today

I am investigating this incident and I just have a hard time trying to understand this cold, heartless act.
I know and deal with human atrocities every day but this is ONE of the many acts that floors me.
By the way, he wasn't hurt and I'm seriously thinking of keeping him.

I recently started a job as a server at a local restraunt. I've had no previous experience, but always imagined I'd end up doing it sooner or later since I enjoy people so much. I like the atmosphere and my coworkers. My customers are usually nice, but I've been getting very frustrated because it seems no matter how hard i work it seems people will never appreciate me enough to give me gratuity that would be worth my while. I'm not doing anything wrong and for the most part i enjoy my customers and likewise. Just was wondering what some folks thought about tipping. I just feel degraded and unappreciated after getting stiffed at lunch today and getting around 10 dollars after a $120 total bill for lunch. I get paid $2.13 an . I work hard, keep glasses full. make recommendations and keep a nice conversation going. just wanted some input and maybe some sympathy :-P... I just feel like its criminal becuz we also have sidework and alot of responsabilities besides customers.. ty..

The church as the Body of Christ is absolutely a matter of life. The church as the Body of Christ is not a doctrine; it is of life. A man cannot become a part of the Body of Christ just by understanding it. He becomes a part of the Body of Christ through regeneration. This is absolutely a matter of life; it has nothing to do with knowledge or doctrine. As Christians we need very much to see the Body of Christ. But the only way we can see the Body of Christ is by God's revelation. We cannot understand the Body of Christ with our mind. Even if we have all the knowledge there is about the Body of Christ, we still may not have seen the Body of Christ or touched the reality of the Body. Only those who have received revelation from God will see the Body of Christ, and only they will enter the reality of the Body.

I've heard people in my family and people I work with say, "God would want me to be happy". What in the history of the world has happened to lead them to this belief. Do you think God wants you to be happy? I think He just wants be to fulfill my role.

I am translating the article into English, and I need the exact quote of the piece of September 7, where she says about four winds held by four angels until seven last plagues poured. And another one - it may follow this excerpt - that one by one the trumpets will sound and one by one the plagues will pour.
If you have this book, please, help me!

Since Satan was banished to hell, wouldn't he constantly be trying to escape?

If he is, why doesn't he raise an army of the damned souls to attack god, instead of punishing him?

If his job is to punish sinners, wouldn't that put him under God's authority?

Pushing religion aside, why do people not believe in the King James Bible? If you take out all religious sects; islamists, christians, catholics, ALL OF THEM, none of which are specified in the bible, and you take them ALL OUT, and just take the word for what it is, why wouldn't anyone believe? I doubt the publishers of the KJB are getting royalties from the sales of the book. The cost of a bible can run you as low as $3. No one has anything to gain from having you read the bible. The bible is "just a book". So why do people shun away from it? Has anyone done this? And if you have, what did you get from it?

it just seems weird to me when i hear a christian say that slavery was an immutable part of human nature, so he didn't do anything because they wouldn't listen anyways.
I mean, god demanded death for working on the sabbath and many other things less sinful as taking someone and making them your slave for life.
If god tells you that working on the sabbath deserves death, yet says nothing about slavery being wrong, aren't you going to think that god doesn't condemn it?
As hard as i try, i cannot empathize with any apologetics i have heard on the topic. Are there any arguments i have not heard on this one?

I just recently visited the Faulkner House, which is located right in the heart of downtown Perry (the county seat of Taylor County, Florida), and something happened while I was there that could only have been supernatural.

One of the owners of the house took me on a tour of the entire property and told me all about its history and also about all of the spirits that supposedly still haunt it to this day. We were about halfway into the tour when he stopped suddenly in front of one particular door which he said was supposed to be the epicenter of the paranormal activity in the house. He cautioned me about entering the room, but I wanted to go in so he tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open. I tried to turn the doorknob as well, but it wouldn't budge an inch for me, either. When we came back to that room later on, the door was ajar (and the doorknob turning just fine, as well) but the air inside the room was very cold.

Was a spirit preventing the doorknob from turning?
