I don't know if it is eroding religion but it shows that people are thinking for themselves now rather then listening to a corrupt church for answers.

religion and atheism have allways existed, most atheist believe in individualism, existentialism and most of all materialism, all the wars religion engaged in through history ads up to casualty of no more than 4million,including terrorism. as for the the people ho believe in greed and get rich no mater what, with no gilt or moral guides add just from first wold war and you find out. they can be no one without the other in philosophical therm even if you religious you still question your believes at some time.

But can of you bible bashing cranks give me and the world actual 100% proof that any of that crap is real.. Can you prove gods existence? Errr nope! I did'nt think so! I'll personally get loans and give everything to you if you can! Quotes and STORIES from a dusty old book just wont cut it. And dont start babbling on about faiths why put youre faith in something you cannot prove and is a total lie? OMG get real! Theres no point in sticking youre hands together in and begging the lord for answers etc... hes not real!

No, atheism actually promotes Christianity as it raises the profile. To be an atheist means you have no hope; life is a futile venture ending in oblivion. Such an idea often encourages people to seek hope in faith.

i don't think people look at atheism as an option. like me they just come to the conclusion that the whole idea of gods and the supernatural is a bit silly and just default to atheism.

No. Just look at the rise in fundamentalistic sects of Christianity and Islam! You would swear we were back in the Medieval Times going by their beliefs!

I don't think people trying to break someone's faith is any better than trying to convert people to religion.

I don't think Atheism is that much on the rise. I see more people becoming Agnostic than anything.

Decode this lyrics " Bettermen"
What atheism?
What religion?
When it were just our creator's universal gifts of life vital for the survival and advancement of living human kind on planet earth.
That were call scripture.
Luke 24.44-45
Look who's getting kick on the butts as casualty of the dead Mummy in climbing up the coconut trees and still look green in not worshiping God?
Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49
What do you think?

nope - they're doing alot to help themselves though - paedophilia, jihads, fostering racism and hatred. fighting amongst themselves, organising and attacking 'unholy' knowledge like evolution... i could go on if it wasn't so depressing.

still - atheists seem equally hateful to me with their simplistic epistemological mistake - SPIRITUALITY IS NOT ABOUT VERIDICAL TRUTH, jeesh - when are you guys gonna realise your hatred of religion comes from the same place as religious people's hatred of you??? atheists have sooo much more in common with religious freaks than they seem to realise!

anyone i haven't offended? awwwww. =(
