Utnapishtim also had an ark, of course he had his ark a few hundred years before Noah did, but most christians just like to ignore that fact.

Around the seas and water there were lots of boats. But in the middle of the desert there was no need for a boat. God told Noah to build the boat, how big, how tall, what to take, what animals to take,when to build and when to shut it up. No one ekse was allowed on the boat and they all drowned, There was so much sin then that God just got rid of them. I wonder when He will do it again.? This is a wicked place and the people are wicked. This can't go on much longer. We are near the end. Good Luck

While other people probably had boats it is doubtful that they had boats like the one Noah had that had enough food stored up to last a year and that was completely sealed and very large to withstand the torrential rains and turbulent seas.

What comes to mind is this - if Jesus could feed all those people with one fish, couldn't Noah have floated away all those that wanted to come with just one fishing boat?

Before the flood it never rained on earth and so no one even knew what Noah was talking about and just like now no one believes that Jesus Christ is going to return for His church. But once th flood came it was too late to be saved and so it will be at the return of our Lord. After the flood only did it start raining and so now we have more problems with floods and so on all because of mans disobedience of God

No one had a boat built like the ark which was built in such a way that it was able to withstand the violent storming waters for 40 days and stay afloat for over six months.

a wooden boat (we MUST assume it was) of the size mentioned in the bible would have collapsed under its own weight when afloat, even without cargo. Physically impossible feat of nautical engineering.

Noah had the only ark, but the rest were zipping around in high powered bass boats, enjoying the 40 day vacation.
