I am investigating this incident and I just have a hard time trying to understand this cold, heartless act.
I know and deal with human atrocities every day but this is ONE of the many acts that floors me.
By the way, he wasn't hurt and I'm seriously thinking of keeping him.

It is very upsetting to think that people can be so cold and cruel. Anybody who has had the love of a puppy knows of the special bond and loyalty that the pup gives to the human. Just one look into their eyes usually shows their selfless dedication and unconditional love. As to why someone would throw a beautiful pup from a moving vehicle, all I can say is that the person has very serious issues.
Good for you for rescuing the puppy. I think I see a life-long friendship in the making here. If you should keep the dog, please have him checked over by the vet to ensure there are no injuries or broken bones. And many years of happiness to you and your new friend!

To all those who made smart comments, I feel sorry for you. There is no reason, or excuse for any kind of pointless violance like that. Yes it is an animal, but that does not matter. I hunt. I fish. I eat meat. But just because i do these things it doesnt give me the right to throw a PET from a moving vehicle. Oh and for the mother setting her kids on fire. That is tragic as well, but what gives you the right to take it out on someone else because they saw something that in YOUR mind was insignificant. Both incidents are pointless and both of hte people responsible should be brought to justice. Tbird was sharing a hard time she herself is going through and we should applaud her for her actions and efferts to protect the animal and bring the perp to justice

Thats just wrong! I love animals and i couldnt imagine doing something like that. I have no idea why people do such horrible things to animals. they need to go to jail for animal cruelty. your a really nice person for helping the puppy. you should keep him because atleast he'll end up in a loving house. <3
to that person who made the comment about the mother throwing gasoline on her children: i just wanna say that that has nothing to do with the question and i feel very bad about that. It is horrible that a mother would do that to her own children or any person. you said that because that happened, no one should be "floored" about the puppy being thrown out of a window. so your saying that just because something worse than the puppy incident happened, everyone should just disregard it?? thats like someone murdering one person and then someone murdering two people but just because two people being murdered is worse than one, no one should be "floored" about one person being murdered??

Because - the person that threw the puppy from a moving vehicle, IS deeply disturbed with no conscience whatsoever!!!!

I'ts very kind of you to keep him. I'm sure he would love to live with you. As an animal activist, if I ever saw someone do that I'd probably freak on them.
