God likes to listen apparently.
It always happens to me, sniff*
I prayed to Dionysus to send me free beer but he never complied!
I lost faith in Gods after that.

Yes! Occasionally there are times when I can't figure out why things are happening the way they are but it usually doesn't last any longer than a day or two and then I find that the answer was right in front of me the whole time. I just failed to let my heart figure it out and I let my clouded mind try to tell me what the plan was. If you want to hear God laugh just tell him your plans for yourself. The key is to let go and let GOD! GOD BLESS!!!

God does not speak in regular language. God speaks through your intuition, gut feelings. God speaks throught the consequeces of your actions. God speaks through the conversations you have with others that inspire you. God does not answer prayer instantly, most of the time. Keep praying/meditating, try mind-body exercises, eat healthy, and don't over indulge, and your spiritual senses will be sharpened, and God will though your intuition speak to your clearer

It's good to see that you're attempting to communicate with God. He speaks and does so quite plain, just get rid of all the other "noise" in your life and you will hear Him soon enough. Peace

Well, I pray to God every night, and don't necessarily hear anything. I think it's perhaps we don't listen hard enough. There's so many distractions and unnecessary things in our life that draw us away from Him. Continue to pray and be totally focused on Him. I know you'll reach Him!

yeah, i tried listening with my heart too. turns out, all my auditory receptors were in my ears :(
then, i realized i could contact Eris with my pineal gland :D
