The church as the Body of Christ is absolutely a matter of life. The church as the Body of Christ is not a doctrine; it is of life. A man cannot become a part of the Body of Christ just by understanding it. He becomes a part of the Body of Christ through regeneration. This is absolutely a matter of life; it has nothing to do with knowledge or doctrine. As Christians we need very much to see the Body of Christ. But the only way we can see the Body of Christ is by God's revelation. We cannot understand the Body of Christ with our mind. Even if we have all the knowledge there is about the Body of Christ, we still may not have seen the Body of Christ or touched the reality of the Body. Only those who have received revelation from God will see the Body of Christ, and only they will enter the reality of the Body.

Good Verses Sister BLI. The point here is on LIFE. This is the profound statement the brother is sharing. We can " know" a lot of things related to the Body of Christ but only LIFE makes anything grow. This LIFE is what we received but we need to ask the Lord to grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation to SEE the Body. Our seeing will open up so much to us. THis is why Paul prayed such a prayer in Ephesians 1:17( book on the Body of Christ)
" That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him"
Our Brother Watchman Nee has been such a gift to the Body and I am not sure if you have ever enjoyed any of his sharing, but it is truly a treasure. I posted a link to the rest of this booklet. Please feel free to avail yourself to it if you feel led to by the Lord.

This is very deep.
Guys are awkward about the "bride of Christ" promise.
But I already DO see the "Body of Christ" in His love reflected through individual Christians, and the church assembly!
"As Christians we need very much to see the Body of Christ." is very true, but until He returns, WE are "the Body of Christ."
