How about 1+1=2 How do you know it's right?

The wrong answers will be, because someone told you so; be it your father, mother , teacher, butcher, baker or the candlesticks maker.

If you can see it as it is so for yourself and it's not because someone pulled rank on you with titles and authority to enforce their will on you - you are being hynoptized and robbed from discovering Truth for yourself and has become a puppet on someone's string!

So what's the right answer?

Could it be that, Truth is something you have always known in your heart; given to you by your Creator, but Men's education have educated and robbed you away from the truth that's in your heart from the very beginning when you were born and replaced it with rote and dead knowledge (through words and language)?

What say you all?

I don't know exactly what it is, but the idea is harming the earth is bad.
My uncle uses this as a major part of his argument but can't remember where it was. His words,

"God will destroy those destroying the earth." He then says it means that if you drive a car, your destroying the earth, then it goes from there.

So is there a verse like this anywhere, or anything similar to this?

You can date it back by saying Jesus lived 2000yr ago and then look in Mark (i think) to gt his family tree and dating that back.

All Christians should believe this because,
If Christians dont believe in the bible then, why should anyone else.

The gospels of Matthew and Mark include an account of Jesus withering a fig tree. In (Matthew 21:18–22) and Mark (Mark 11:12–14 and Mark 20-24), Jesus and some associates are leaving Bethany when Jesus approaches a fig tree to collect fruit from it. Since it is the wrong season, there are no figs. Seeing this, Jesus curses the fig tree to never bear fruit again. In Mark, the next day Simon Peter notices that the fig tree has withered. In Matthew, the fig tree withers immediately and is noticed at that time by unnamed disciples.

If an angel from heaven suddenly became visible to you as you were sitting alone, what would your reaction be? An ancient saint admonished Christians in these words: "In every area ... in every corner, pay a respect to your angel. Dare not do before him what you dare not do before others. Consider with how great respect, awe, and modesty we ought to behave in the sight of the angels lest we offend their holy eyes and render ourselves unfit for their company. Woe to us if they who could chase away our enemy would be offended by our negligence and deprive us of their visit."

First of all i would like to start by saying that by transsexual i do not mean a transvestite or a drag queen (people who simply dress up as the opposite gender for whatever reason, but live their day to day life in the gender they were born in) but i do mean actualy transgender person. Aka a person with a real medical condition whereby they feel since when they were a child that they were born into the wrong body, and when they don't seek treatment it often either ends with a suicide or a serious mental break down. Or individuals who are born intersexed (aka with no clear male or female genetal, in which case the parents are usually asked to choose the child's gender, and the child usually either accepts it for life or rebels against it later).

Ok so now that this is sorted for the actual question. I watched a documentary on television about transgender people, dealing with their personal relationships, and how their transition affected/affects their loved ones. To be continued...

Science is fact
Religion is belief

Faith is the belief in things not seen. An Evolutionist cannot see the past, and cannot prove the Big Bang. It is just a theory.

Is not his faith even more radical than a Christians? He certainly is more insecure about it.

For example, it is probably ok to ask someone who looks in their 20s their age, but maybe it is rude to ask someone who looks in their 40s.

Does this also depend on the askers age ?

Are the rules different between men and women ?

is God real?
some people say it is something to believe in for the ones who are weak and scared and dumb...
for the ones who need something to trust and have faith in because they are scared of the after life
it says that it is a sin to kill steal robbery and adultrey sound like today's laws are we sure the bible wasnt a law book
the bible says you cant be gay but you are born that way lol why would sombody choose it anyway and why is God so forgiving but people who are gay cant change there minds lol screwed before they are alive
God says we cant say there are gods and every other religion is wrong does this mean religion was power and the pope wanted power so he translated the ancient law book and added these extra lines so the scared and dumb could follow him and give him power it is like 2day the leaders used to scre people for them, to follow them maybe the pope did the same? he wanted followers do he scared them told them they would burn for eternity if they dont

A guy I never met came up to listen to me speak to one of his friends, and he just stared at me for at least a minute...inches from (reallllly close) my face...with a confused expression and didn't let up until I looked at him back and he looked embarassed. He's never introduced himself to me ever though. And I tried to speak to him the next day and he just ignored me...what does this mean?

All these arguments about "It is the Mother's Body, Oh it is her body" seem pretty absurd when applied to the New Born. Yet when it comes to the unborn baby, many accept them as logical.

This type of schitzophrenic argumentation really can drive a person insane.

A child is dependent upon it's mother. Does that mean the woman has the power of life and death over it? Does the woman have the right to exercise the power of death?
