What confuses you Riverrat? They are two totally different concepts. Here you ask a question and you get a bunch of separate answers. On the other site you ask a question and everybody answers as they wish, intermingling and blending their reactions.
Of the two the other site offers the wider scope for debate and consensus. You are not allowed to do that here, although many of us have tried in the past. That was, actually, WHY the other site was brought into existance....so that we could debate and chat and talk about things that are not allowed by the rules on here.

On Y!A rejects we can freely indulge in our little flights of fancy and some really love that.
On Y!A we have been FORCED by Y!A rigid rules and the trolls lack of compassion and a sense of hmour, to confine ourselves to a pretty formal format.
Its a Q&A format and thats all but it is faster paced and more immediate than the YA rejects group.
It depends on what you like but why not take in the best of both worlds.

I do both. I like answers because I can learn something now and then. Rejects and Outlaws is just getting rolling and some of the stuff is pretty silly, but it's a nice group of people.

Y/A is supposed to be a question & answer site and that's all. We started our new site so we can chat, joke, be supportive of each other, etc. We can participate as much or as little as we want.
All the responses to an original post is at the bottom with the time they were written, so you can see what everyone had to say on a subject. If you'd like to add something, click on the message and hit reply. Write what you want and submit it and it will go on the message page. If you're there when someone else is on, we are more than glad to help you. Most of us are new at this kind of site and are learning together.

The rejects and outlaws are a wild bunch to be sure. And I really enjoy reading what they are up to. Just starting to figure out who they are and what they are about. You just need to read their messages and chip in if you have something to say or ask. I have not had much time lately to put in my two cents but hope that changes soon.

Hey R I V E R R A T, sorry you are confused. You can ask any question you want there and take it further. Much like what you are doing here on YA answers. If someone asks a question that you don't understand, no need to consider it. I just pick and choose myself. Sometimes I asked questions. Hope you stay with it.
Sorry your team lost to Denver!

I've always been happy with Y/A. Never tried rejects & outlaws. I doubt they'd allow me into their little click & it's probably better if I don't. I'm only 54 & the last thing I want is to enter a chat room full of people who only want to chat about other people. I might be confused too, but that's my take on this new group that is going by the name of rejects & outlaws.

I keep checking it out, but have not posted anything. I am also a bit confused but I think I am starting to get it. I do like reading the posts and it does seem more familiar than here. I think I like this site better..... maybe because I'm more comfortable with the format. Who knows, maybe I'll be there soon!

Your question confuses me. What are rejects & outlaws you refer to?
