When they stop, God starts do you agree?

Yes, but you could be surprised, how God could help one to know how to do more. It can be a little back and forth. With God taking you farther, and then you learning and going farther on your own. Each time you do all that you know how to do, you improve in what you can do.with God's help..

Yep I agree..You do all you can do at your end and its up to a HIgher Power to finish what You started. You try on your end to mend fenses and still ya cant cross. Lay down and sleep. As you have done your part. Its up to the other person to find out. I know sweetie.Been there and still trying but seems like its not working. So I shall sleep knowing I did what I could do. Afterall that's all you can do. God sees all and hears all prayers.

When confronted with a problem, I do what I can about it in the here and now. Once I've done all I can, I pray about it and turn it over to God... and let it go. This has saved my sanity and kept me from getting ulcers.

I often have friends tell me how frustrated they are because they can't fix a loved one. When you love someone, you want to be able to fix them or their situation. I often remind them that they can't fix other people. I tell them that they're frustrated because they're not omnipotent. lol Do what you can, then turn it over to God.

The Serenity Prayer pretty much says it all:

"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference. "

Hi Rena, I am still on the fence about God so I don't know if I agree. I guess for me, I don't have a starting or stopping point.

Yes my dear Rena, God steps in where we can no longer carry the heavy burden. We turn everything over to God, laying all our troubles in life at His feet. When things get to be too much for me, I say, God, take this heavy yoke from my shoulders and handle this, it works, in His timing of course.

No. If there's a God, which I don't believe, I was told on good authority (an Archbishop of Canterbury) that he helps those who help themselves. So those are blessed who, having done all they know how to do, learn how to do something else. There's no excuse for handing responsibility for your life to anyone else, real or imagined. Good luck!
